Nice build suggest getting a cheap 1TB HDD cause your SSD will fill fast and this is the monitor i have, i recommend IPS over TN Panels anyday. http://www.amazon.co.uk/Acer-G246HYLbmjj-Widescreen-Monitor-EcoDisplay/dp/B00CTLZGAM

I've avoided IPS for gaming because of the higher ms (usually 5-8ms), but I've never actually tried one out. Do you have any noticeable lagging going on in gaming?

Only a slight difference in the response time hardly noticeable against a friend 2ms TN panel, but just feel the improved colour contrast and viewing angle is huge, would really recommend going to an hardware/electronics shop and looking at the differences

I assume you got the 32gb for the OS, did the OS fit on that drive and if so how much space did you have left over?

Thanks!

nope the 120gb has the OS, but w/o updates the OS took roughly 20gb, i have the 32gb for family member who wanted their own storage, also it says 32gb but it really only had 29.something of space on it

Im must admit, I've never seen a build done with only 1 stick of ram. I always assumed they only worked in pairs. But your system runs find on just the one stick?

works fine, i plan to add another for the dual channel, single just gives slightly weaker performance but it really is not noticeable

Quick Question, have you upgraded to 16GB yet? If not, could you tell me if 1 8Gb stick is fine for gaming (Same one) and if you have upgraded, could you tell me if there is a noticeable difference in games.

not yet college been a drain, but i have not noticed a single problem with 1 stick of 8gb
