Interesting, I've never heard of Ensourced custom cables. I only knew about Cablemod cables and and the BitFenix Alchemy extensions. +1 and congrats on the feature!

I'm happily surprised you found this build since it was built last year. Since then I've gotten a new case and switch over to a BeQuiet Dark Rock 3. But I never really had issues with the H80i.

Make sure you download the latest version of Link and check the connections. I had the pump connected to the motherboard CPU fan header, the mini-USB cable connected to the pump and motherboard USB header, and lastly the two fans connected to the pump with the included Y cable.

Let me know if this helps!

+1 great build! I'd say, go for the Acer X34. Ultrawide is the way to go. I personally have the Dell U3415W and can't go back to 27" widescreen.. but then again if money is not an issue, 3x IPS ROG? :D

+1 for S340. One of the easiest cases I've had the opportunity to build in.

+1 on the loop. for flex tubing, you did a pretty good job. also, what size tubing is that?

strange color scheme though with the yellow and mismatch shades of blue (fan vs tubing blue difference).

LOL +1

I did, and still do, have cooling issues on warm days after gaming for >60 mins. This usually requires me removing the side panel of the PC case (a feat which takes 2 seconds), and enable complete ventilation for the GPU while it cools down.

I feel you man. I have the same case (not posted to PCPP yet) with the larger triple slot DCUII cooler on the Asus HD7970 and whenever I game, the panel comes off and the room fan gets aimed at it. Saving up for a reference card. It suppose to provide better cooling for the FT03 cases.

LOL 4790k would come with another mobo as well. DDR2 wouldn't be supported. As for the PSU, that will be upgraded as soon as I find a good deal to replace my own.

meh, I want to upgrade to a mechanical keyboard soon. I didn't realize it was an ISO keyboard layout before purchasing so the weird Enter button was annoying but took some getting used to. Also, the arrow keys are real close to the Delete, End, and Page Down buttons. All in all, there are better keyboards at this price range. Hope it helps!

EDIT: Also, if you're wondering what I mean with ISO layout (vs ANSI) here's a link: http://deskthority.net/wiki/ANSI_vs_ISO

nice build. how did you get the Rosewill tower to show up in the "About this Mac" menu?

also, nice monitor. any text scaling to get it look right with the 4k monitor? and how's the durability of it seem. i feel like it would have a tendency to sag over time since the stand is offset from the middle.

its possible that OPs not interested in overclocking... but when you have to ask why get the K version of the CPU. only reasoning I could see, is the ~$50 price difference on Newegg and the omitting of wifi/bluetooth.
