no I'm just saying its the luck of the draw you can only clock your cpu to a certian rate already, but the i5's are essentially low tier i5's that didn't make the specs required for them to become i7's so esentially it will always have a lower clock rate compared to that of an i7

OK i understand now but it can still pull more than that if the settings were turned down because that is with everything turned up completely' and on very hard to run games' not on more normal games. and the fps isn't determined by the refresh rate which is what the 144 hz.

if he does a lot of labor he could be a day laborer i have a friend who did that for half the summer and winded up with $4,000; they can make a lot of cash quick but it is really hard work.

an i5 will be just fine, you just wont get as high as an overclock if you went with it which doesn't matter as much

1440p will run on the 1070 it just wont be at 90 fps constantly itll be about 60-50 on all high settings; a 1080 is suppose to be for 4k
