This would be able to run AAA titles better than your PS4...
I'd like to see some higher quality pics
Maybe he got a good deal on it. If you can get one for a good price, it usually slightly outperforms the RX 480 and is in general a very solid card at 1080p
needs pictures of the whole rig
pfft, who needs a case
just needs another 1070 ;)
Dude this is freaking sweet
I think I might. It goes into the back of the case and while it doesn't look awful, It's not as nice as I'd like it to be.
Thank you! It was very straightforward. I just installed it in the front with the fan facing the outside of the case and the radiator facing inward with the fan set to intake. Hope this helps!
Very clean, I've always wanted to build in one of these. +1
No, the 2m is like a foot too long, I would recommend the 1m
I get to about 65-70 at stock after running aida 64 for 15 minutes. I know that the temps are safe but I just don't know if I'd be comfortable with them being any higher.
It's the 2m. I had to hide some of the LED's because it's too long. Get the 1m or you'll have a rough time haha
When the PSU is the second most expensive part of the build lol. Regardless though, awesome build +1
It all makes sense now
Thank you! For sure;) Temps are a bit high for my comfort while stress testing at stock so I think I might try applying some Arctic Silver thermal compound and see if that helps any
People are always talking about building a functional computer for 100 bucks. It's nice to actually see
someone build one. +1
I like it
I'm in love with the cleanliness of your setup
would replace with a 1080 rather than 980 ti
This is such an awesome idea +1
easily the cleanest HAF 912 build I have EVER seen. Well done man
This build was certainly more creative than The other one
I was stunned at how clean this was for a Scrapyard Wars PC. This was the best season yet and I would love to see you guys collab with LMG again!
This build is delicious
the title says it all, and it certainly is cool ;)
This is an awesome concept! It reminds me of the Phanteks Mini XL case. +1
Agreeeeeeed, the S7 Edge is sexy af
Not to mention all of those white girls who hava a need to have Apple products.
lovin those Dominator Platinums
I would love to see benchmarks, interested in making a build like this for a friend. +1
It breaks my heart when I see computer hardware being thrown out, I'm glad that you salvaged a decent computer for basic tasks out of these machines. +1 for re-purposing of old "broken" machines.
those are tasty temps
Clean af, now all you "need" are some leds lol
That's quite the set up you've got there +1
This build is quite nice indeed, though a bit puzzling. Did you consider going with a full ATX mobo or was there some reason you didn't? Why did you choose that PSU? Why did you go with a low profile CPU cooler, and is there a reason you felt you needed a locked i7 over an unlocked i5? Do you do other stuff with you computer that would largely benefit from hyper-threading? Sorry for all of the questions haha, I'm just curious.
especially when full atx mobos
offer so much more expand ability
Not sure why this got downvoted
A lefty eh? Haha, awesome setup you've got!
I feel that with a build this nice an ssd is in order. Overall good build.
Let's just say that I only get FPS in the 20s on DayZ in the city areas and I have an R9 390 with an i5 4690k. Terrible, terrible optimization indeed. I know this is late but still.
I see, the build does look really snazzy though and I agree that a full loop looks better, thanks for the reply and the build is really nice +1
