This is sick. I love the mini figures on the shroud and card!
Clock speed isn't everything. I do understand that you wanted to overclock and Intel does have that better range but in terms of being practical the 3800x would have been a better choice.
It's cool tho, I have an 8086k so I'm a little of a hypocrite.
why did you pick the 8700k? It's getting a little old
It's still fast but Ryzen is better and cheaper for real now
It would be a better idea to pick up a ryzen 2200G and an RX 570. The Ryzen 3 2200G is a little faster than the 1200 and the RX 570 destroys the GTX 1050 Ti.
Do you mean the Q500L? This is the Q300L.
Sadly, it's not something you really can fix. It really just has to with the fact that your GPU might be heavy, and the motherboard PCIe slot is just kinda weak. Your card doesn't look huge though, so I would just try taking it out and putting it back in carefully.
Nice build, thought thats a pretty solid bottleneck with the 960 4gb and 8700k
you did good! The only real thing I spot is that the GPU is practically falling off the motherboard, but thats really about it.
sadly my old fm2+ system can't run anything more than counter strike, but when I have a new PC running it's one of the games I want to play!
the 3gb and the 1050 Ti are garbage when you compare them to the rx 570 and 580
**** sapphire cards look so nice
I'm surprised you paid $218 for a 1060 3gb when the RX 580 destroys it for the same price. Also, the RAM speed might impact performance since Ryzen performs better with fast RAM (3000mhz is usually the sweet spot for the current Zen CPUs).
clean up them wires
inb4 feature! ++++++++++++++1
oh my **** get the leaf blower please
just internet browsing and music? throw some more at it
they're some weird chinese fans.
is there a reason you bought a water cooling motherboard?
Is there a reason you have a 7700k instead of newer parts? Just curious.
Just curious, why'd you buy an 8086k with a lower end Z370 motherboard?
saw this on reddit yesterday, very nice!
I hope that some of those cables don't get caught in the cooler
just a tad
best response of all time
how the heck are you able to use the monitors at that angle
some cable combs for the cables you bought would make it perfect
that is not a corsair rm750x
so, you like asus
thats a horrible reason
Saw this on LinusTechTips! +1
I mean the X299 prime does look like the X470 prime, but they aren't the same socket and chipset lol.
Highly suggest replacing the psu
Highly suggest replacing the psu
Or just a Zen 2 CPU lol
You do realize that the RX 570 destroys the 1050Ti in almost every game? Hardware Unboxed made a video on it...
Yikes, someone can't read.
Shoulda bought the RX 570, F
Lol, you don't seem to know much about PCs and it's hard to tell if you're being sarcastic. Don't beat on this nice build, it looks great.
holy ******* cables
He can BLCK overclock the CPU. The CPU needs to be unlocked to change the multiplier.
1440p 144hz monitor and a 2700X? Call me extremely confused.
Looks really great though, it's a 1080p champ.
I never did suggest water cooling. I recommend a dark rock pro 4 or nh-d15 before I recommend an AIO.
Looks good, definitely an upgrade over a laptop. The only thing I recommend is changing the CPU cooler. The Hyper 212 is an ok cooler, it's not as good as it used to be with the Intel CPUs getting warmer. I wouldn't suggest overclocking until you get a newer cooler.
well said. I couldn't agree more.
