LeMMingSlayeR's Completed Build: The Long Overdue

ooferino 1 point 1 day ago

It would be a better idea to pick up a ryzen 2200G and an RX 570. The Ryzen 3 2200G is a little faster than the 1200 and the RX 570 destroys the GTX 1050 Ti.

PrezCarter's Completed Build: (Updated!) 13 Year Old's 2nd Build

ooferino 2 points 6 days ago

Sadly, it's not something you really can fix. It really just has to with the fact that your GPU might be heavy, and the motherboard PCIe slot is just kinda weak. Your card doesn't look huge though, so I would just try taking it out and putting it back in carefully.

Nice build, thought thats a pretty solid bottleneck with the 960 4gb and 8700k

you did good! The only real thing I spot is that the GPU is practically falling off the motherboard, but thats really about it.

Liam3002's Completed Build: Build For My Friend Kevin

ooferino 2 points 11 days ago

I'm surprised you paid $218 for a 1060 3gb when the RX 580 destroys it for the same price. Also, the RAM speed might impact performance since Ryzen performs better with fast RAM (3000mhz is usually the sweet spot for the current Zen CPUs).

I never did suggest water cooling. I recommend a dark rock pro 4 or nh-d15 before I recommend an AIO.

jazei05's Completed Build: 1st BUILD AFTER GAMING LAPTOP USER

ooferino 1 point 2 months ago

Looks good, definitely an upgrade over a laptop. The only thing I recommend is changing the CPU cooler. The Hyper 212 is an ok cooler, it's not as good as it used to be with the Intel CPUs getting warmer. I wouldn't suggest overclocking until you get a newer cooler.

Jadn's Completed Build: My first build!!

It would have been way better. OP really could have gotten a way better deal with going AMD. OP could have gotten a newer Zen 2 chip and the 570 destroys the 1050 Ti

fairly loaded... I own several stores online

Really dude? Come on, we don't all own a few ******* stores online and can get $100 in one day. I'm not OP, I don't know OP's money situation, but it would take me a deal of time to get $100. Also, sometimes there's no reason to spend for more than you need. OP has two 1080p monitors, not a 1440p monitor. He even said he got a good deal on the card. He saved money and still got a great 1080p card.
