Holy SATA ports.
That graphics card looks amazing.
I personally would have not purchased an SSD. Also I would have gotten something like a Cooler Master Hyper 212 EVO CPU cooler. Then I would have gotten something like an Nvidia GTX 760, or if you can find one, an R9 270x.
Nice build. Not sure why the Titan though, extreme waste of money. You could have gone with either a 780Ti and saved some money, or 2 780s in SLI.
But the build looks great. I love NZXT's Kraken series coolers.
Nice work. Does the $2,331.45 include all of the custom loop items?
Whoops, looks like I missed that. Thanks!
Interesting. I work as a front-end developer for a large company. Couldn't design without my Mac ;)
Wow. I've never built one, just gaming rigs. I knew they were expensive, but not that much. What will the primary use for this be?
Seems like $144 for 16GB of ECC isn't that bad. Either way, nice build. Crazy how much more expensive workstations are though :) At least the 500GB 840 EVO is actually becoming reasonably priced. It's crazy how in 2 years they went from $1,000+ down to where they are now.
This think must destroy games. 780ti in SLI? What sort of FPS are you getting in Crysis 3?
Sorry about the break in man.. Nice build though.
Was about to comment your exact words. Well spoken.
Can I ask why the $1,100+ price tag for this?
Why do you have a 770 and a 550ti in the same build?
Pretty well balanced. The monitor and SSD were a bit out of proportion. I personally would have gone with either a 120GB 840 EVO, and one of these guys :)
Awesome work! That's so huge! PCPartPicker is in with some of the biggest guys in the industry now!
I've got my NZXT H440 shipping to me right now :) I've been waiting for about a month xD (Pre-order). I got the black and red version.
I'm really confused on every part of this build.
Acrylic tubing is beautiful. Nice work.
Yes sir. There's a picture of it above!
Crosshair V Formula for $110 and 780 for $420? You sir, are good at finding deals. Not to mention the H100i.
Haha I agree with your points. I paid a LOT more for the look of the PC. But hey, I max out BF4 and and runs every game I play great. So I guess it's just what you play :)
Thanks! I love this case. It was a dream to build in. And I love Fractal Design's style. Simple, clean and functional, but beautiful at the same time. No compromises. By the way, I just checked out your build. Really nice work! That card looks badass with the back plate.
Awesome build! :)
Thanks! I would highly recommend it. It's a really sweet machine.
Thanks! This case is a dream to cable manage in.
Thanks a lot!
No unfortunately, I sold it to a friend a few months later. This build is ~5 months old.
$1300 to a friend of mine a few months after building it.
Thanks! And yeah, I didn't even get to use it in this build. Sad face.
I've actually sold this computer since I built it. But thanks for the suggestion!
Yeah I know. It's really weird. But other people have had the same problem. The socket AM3+ has a standard size for mounting bracket, but who knows.
If other people wanted to build this, that's why I included it :p
I actually had Windows 7 on this PC. I just felt like including 8 in the build.
Thanks! They're extensions from Frozen CPU. I also have one for the 6 pin CPU power, that you can't see in this shot. They look great and make cable management a breeze.
Thanks! I really like it. Great weight, slides nicely and the DPI is great (being able to change it). I have a macro set on one of the side buttons to scope and turn the DPI down for sniping. A lot of fun.
Thanks a lot! I appreciate it.
Updated! Sorry about that.
Thanks! And I know, I did a little research and a new review popped up the day after I tried installing it on Newegg saying it didn't work with that motherboard.
And the LEDs were my favorite part. I wanted it to look like a Storm Trooper but I also wanted to be able to make all of the internals any color I wanted.
Thanks! I could have purchased some better hardware for the same price, but I'm too much of a design freak to have done that.
Me too. To answer your question, I actually put that in the description. It didn't mount on my motherboard correctly.. The bracket was physically about a half inch too small.
I appreciate the kind words xD
Nice job! That's so clean. Also, great parts.
Really nice build. I think the contrast between the blue and red LEDs looks great.
