I'm not really into that kind of stuff...though...It might look good.
Looks really nice. It's out of the way but no to where it's not noticeable.
Computer is no longer on the floor. I have it on a stand right under the tv and beside the couch.
I was noticing that. Very expensive now.
Price wise i think i made a good choice. Some day i might upgrade.
Ill keep it in mind...unless intel comes out with anything else that affordable.
Yep, for now. Ill upgrade it in the future.
She could try...haha.
At the time i couldnt find the right prices to get anything more then the pentium. Does the i3 8100 have hyperthreading?
Oh yeah...not me haha.
No...why? No used parts...
So, with this build and thr motherboard i have, upgrading to an i5 or even i7 later would work right? Also, as for the gpu, are there any suggestions that would be better dor the future if i do so cjoose to upgrade it? Something not to expensive, maybe comparable?
It is a low budget build but it wasn't just built to game. Gaming hete and there on it is what ill probably do. I really wantes to get parts to overclock but my budget would't work for that. I do really wish i got a modular psu though.
She will use it to learn her pre k stuff with abc mouse haha. Not a whole lot more then that for her.
I would rather have an i5 as well...but they were to expensive...
No problems so far. It runs nice.
I figured it would be a way too either save money or put it towards another pc part. I think the case is the antec 300.
I JUST got the 6670 a couple days ago! Steam doesn't work so there really isn't any way for me to test it out...I have linux on this pc.
When I built my computer 4 years ago I wanted to use Windows but I didn't want to pay that much for it. I went with linux ubuntu. I love it, but you can't really game all that much on it. So I really don't game on it now. I would just get windows and call it good if you are wanting to game.
That is a very nice case! Unfortunately I will need wifi.
I might be able to build a slightly bigger pc, so I will be looking to find maybe a micro atx case. I don't really know yet though.
Indeed, but I am trying to make a starter htpc setup for right now. Again, I will upgrade in the future. I haven't done pc gaming but I do want to give it a try.
The i3 7350k really tickled my fancy but the price is way to high and it's an i3. When I get this built and use it for awhile I will upgrade.
I understand that. I just want to build this one first then eventually upgrade the cpu.
I will keep this build and start ordering parts! Thanks for the help.
That's good to know. Anything else I should look at?
Ok, I saw on Toms Hardware they looked about equal.
or the 1050 right?
Yeah, I know I can't OC, which is fine for the time being. That's why I want to be able to upgrade in the future.
How is the RX460 compared to the 1050 you posted in the build?
Just for the heck of it, I came up with this last night.
Interesting. Yes, I want to pretty much play games on this build. It will probably go in the living room, hooked up to the tv.
Will this motherboard be able to fit maybe an i5 if I want to upgrade the cpu in the future?
Actually...After measuring the shelf where I am going to put it I am open to a cube pc case. I was looking at the coolermaster elite 110.
So...really...your build that you did for me is what I am looking for. Does the mother board have longevity?
Thank you for the reply, but I probably should have stated that I don't want a cube pc case.
I think you went over budget by $174...
Here is the build if anyone want's to take a stab at it. I went over my budget by $100-$200 but am okay as long as it provides me longevity and future upgrade ability with ease.
I am willing to change up most if not 90% of this build as long as the case stays. I like the case and feel I can make it happen.
I don't know of the rx 580/570 or 1060 will fit in the case I have chosen to build with.
Can the i5 7500 be overclocked?
I have been out of the computer building game for about 3 years now. My last build was in 2013 and I used all the wrong parts to be able to upgrade the computer for future use. I used an AMD chip on an FM2 board and it seems that AMD is using different boards now...
So with this ITX build, I want to fit as much computer power into a small case as I possibly can. The only hiccup I came up with was the graphics card. Honestly, I would like to have this build be on par if not better then an Xbox one or PS4.
Hm. It's only around $40. Cheep enough to try.
I have been out of computer building for a couple years now, I still need a video card, what would be a good one to get that would work on this set up?
Not yet. I put off pc building for a while but now I have been looking into it again. I am going to buy the 212 evo probably this week.
Not looking to game much. Just use steam for now. I will be getting a new PSU and CPU cooler in the future though. It has been decided.
Thanks. It runs and works very well for what it is. I will change a few things on it but a little ways down the road.
Yeah I've tried cleaning them up. Now I have more excuse to when I get a new CPU fan and PSU.
Thanks for the input. In will be looking into a PSU for right now.I will think about the GPU part of it.
I'm getting a ton of parts from a friend for a cheap used parts PC build. I'll prob OC on that first to try it out and when I get the hang of it I'll prob try OCing my PC.
That will be next on my list.
I just want to try OC to see what is is like and to learn more. But I might do that with my other build for practice. Thanks.
I will look into that. Thank you.
I have a guy getting me another CPU that I will use in a computer to mess around with. I will probably take my PSU out and use it in that computer and buy a new psu for my comp.
