The ripping off is likely in reference to stealing the content of other users. We had some troll accounts taking very high end professional builds and claiming them as their own on here.
Please note, there is absolutely NOTHING wrong with using the exact same parts as another user. Stealing their writeup and pictures and claiming them as your own will not be tolerated though.
In addition, if someone is really going nuts with the trolling or inappropriate comments please feel free to email me directly or message us via the contact page.
Please keep your comments civil and refrain from personal attacks on our site.
This topic has been moved from "General > General Discussion" to "Systems > Part List Opinions Wanted".
Let me talk with Philip about it. It doesn't seem like that should be an issue though.
Added, give it a few hours to show the pricing.
added the headset
Added, keep an eye out for pricing in the next few hours.
It is unlikely we will have parts that are only on FrozenCPU. At the current time they do not allow us to list their parts. Shoot them an email voicing your concerns if you would like them included.
Everything on that list is already on the to do list. We plan to approach WC parts the same as all the others. The parts will be coming from as many sites as possible.
Yeah, I talked about this case with Philip and we are trying to figure out how to put it into the system. We don't really have a system in place to handle bundles like these. We are looking into it though and I will do what I can to get it on the site as quickly as possible.
The filters will only show if there are products that have that feature are in stock or have pricing. If you check the box for show parts without price data the filter will reappear.
At the current time I do not believe we support adding 2 CPUs. This is something we are working on integrating into the compatibility filter as we expand workstation and server parts.
Your idea regarding watercooling and hiding the CPU cooler line is an interesting idea. We are still discussiong functionality and implementation of WC into the build lists so this is certainly something we will consider.
As soon as I can get them all entered. WC parts seem to have very little documentation on spec pages or standardized mpns which makes things a bit more time consuming. I'm through res, rads, and coolants. Fittings and tubing are next.
Added, prices should be showing soon: http://pcpartpicker.com/part/cooler-master-keyboard-kb157106bom
These are on our to do list. Server/workstation parts require several additions to the compatibility filter and we want to make sure everything is in place before those parts start showing on our site.
Looks like we didn't have amazon listed for this part. I fixed the entry and prices should be showing soon. Also, you can buy it with Prime right now. It looks to be available again.
Fixed, thanks. Look for pricing soon.
I see EVERYTHING :D
1/2. Sounds like a great idea. Definitely passing along to the team to check about implementation.
We have already talked about this as a team and it is something we plan to implement in the future.
Not sure if this one will change but I will bring it up. We had kind of talked about this in relation to #3.
Interesting idea. I will bring it up with the team as well.
For now you will need to use a custom part for one of them. Sorry for the inconvenience.
Piracy is not tolerated on our site. Further references will be grounds for a ban.
I highly suggest installing drivers on the mobo page. In almost all cases the ones on the CD are outdated.
Hmm, my guess is that it doesn't allow us to pull that pricing because it requires an extra step to view the cost. I will forward it along and see if this is something we can work with microcenter to correct.
This is something we have talked about adding into the system. I will check to see where we are at on it.
Gah, I should have double checked. Mobile atm but I should be able to fix in a couple hours.
Difficulty has risen and serious miners no longer use GPUs but separate hardware called ASICs now.
If you are tossing that much cash in a build I highly suggest skipping the sound card and taking a look at some audiophile amp/dacs and headphones/mic setups. You really don't want 2k worth of GPUs potentially causing electrical interference with a soundcard and it will keep the internals much cleaner.
Use your PSU fan grate.
Honestly, my point stands regarding ltc that you and everyone else starting to mine are simply too late to the game. You are going to do more damage to your hardware and cause more issues than a few extra bucks a month is worth.
Yep, looks to be a UK only model. What insane setup are you looking at that would require a 1500w PSU?
