This should crush any online (mostly multiplayer) title and do about High setting 60fps for an ultrawide like his, otherwise ultra 55-60

true, but mx4 is a bit more expensive (not that it matters) mx4 also is not conductive, so you won't fry your cpu if it gets gooped. I used the tube that came with my hyper tx3, and it works pretty well.

Bottleneck = CPU 100% GPU at 20% or something like that

just saying. Even if you dont need the good gpu, the gpu is important for a lot of things. Btw, you never want your gpu to be cheaper than your cpu.

thanks. the Z97 is the cheapest mobo I can find (cheaper than most of the H97 mobos) and I want the option to go i7 in the future. skylake's not worth it imo because intel changes chipsets with every architecture.

Go for a better video card than CPU. For example, with $700, I can get a i5 4460 ($180) and a r9 380 "Better than 960" ($210) (Total is $390/700) and I'd still have enough budget for the other stuff. Oh, and CX430 is bad. Get EVGA or something. Corsair units are good only when they are high wattage and/or high priced (unless your build's really chilly) because CX430 can "only" hold 30'C of heat. (It can go higher for the price of efficiency)

Wouldn't a sapphire card work too?
