It's $54 now, I'd bet money that if the drive is even in the build then he didn't buy it for $50.

You just said it was running at 70c, not 75 or 100. I didn't say run it at 100, I said rated up to 100. Probably was during stress test too.

70c is fine. they are rated up to 100.

212 evo manages temps on 6000 series amazingly well, where did you hear otherwise? I want to smack whomever lied to you.

ALSO: He said he likes the quiet from the liquid cooler. Since he's not oc'd that makes sense. The fan will hardly spin without any excess heat.

Really depends on how far you plan to push the cpu/gpu in question. He might be getting the 750 so that he can run SLI in the future as well.

Yes there was an issue where a microcode in windows 10 unintentionally locked the g3258. Since you seem confident I'm going to assume you didn't run into the issue on the msi h81 and have no clue what I'm even talking about! Thanks for chatting.

Even dips above 60 fps can be felt in the mouse movement even though they are not seen. It's only really truly smooth at the much higher fps we are discussing.

Comment reply on JCezz's Completed Build: Entry level gaming build.

  • 1 point

That would be true but i'm not talking about what you see. 60 fps is fine for visuals, 300 is required for how the game feels when you move your mouse. is it the same every time? down to the last pixel?

Comment reply on JCezz's Completed Build: Entry level gaming build.

key word show. eyes. What I'm talking about is feel related. how the mouse movement feels.

If you are a hardcore fps gamer you know that muscle memory is everything. 200-300 fps is the sweet spot for maintaining a smooth feeling and accurate muscle memory. It has nothing to do with the look or what your eye can see. Yes ultra will run at 100 fps and your eye wont notice but your "feel" for the game will change.

Comment reply on JCezz's Completed Build: Entry level gaming build.

What you need to understand is cs:go plays best at 200-300 fps. So ultra would be detrimental to his frames.

Tons of possible factors there. However, in general water cooling is just for looks/silence at a gamer level. The chips just don't run hot enough to require liquid cooling.

Really, the cards i've specifically listed are all over the place?

I see two FTW+s both over $250 each on hardwareswap, both in worse condition than mine.

Faster base clock, higher overclock potential, better looking, better cooling, and a back plate to boot.
