1070 is supposed to be only 40-50 more than the 970. If the claims are true he should stay with is current plan

how do you start with a $100 cpu and end with $1000 dollars in other componets with no monitor added to the price list?

if you buy more ram you don't necessarily have to buy the same ram again. You can buy ram from a different brand aslong as its ddr3 and contains the same cas and latency. Just know if you buy a set of ddr3 1333 its going to slow down your 1600 and if you buy higher it will drop to 1600.

would have gone with an i5 and used the extra cash for a 970. Seems like a weird choice to do a strong processor with a not so strong card.

Nice build i guess. I would have gone intel. The 4th gens have dropped so much in price you could have gotten more performance for the same price.

for the liquid cooling being just for looks you went with an expensive one. any of the corsair hydro series would have had the same affect for half the price. and i like that ram looks sick.

nice build. I like how you went with other brands for your storage then the top rated on the lists. The only odd thing about your build is the case just looks odd. I didn't even know amd made solid state drives.

would have gone with a 970 for the optimization. R9 390 struggles in 1080p is equal in 1440p and sucks at 4k.

I would have done 2 gtx 980 ti's yes less vram, but they have been outshining the titans in benchmarks.
