I think it was just proximity and location. Large congregations are always attractive to dangerous people.

Hmm, having no physical markings may prove more of a problem because the robot can easily lose track of where it is. Do you have specifics on how precise these IMU's can get? Will it be enough when you are twisting and turning around on the ground for a few minutes?

Comment reply on Forum Topic "FIRST"

Part of it is keeping track of where your robot is right now. If you don't have a precise system in place for this (in fact, almost everything has to be precise), it's not very feasible to do so. tl;dr You have to establish precision or a marking system (using the grid on the floor) before starting to think about programming that.

Good luck in September.

I have both. The Google Home sounds a lot more natural and gives better answers (I don't know how well it speaks Swedish though.)

Both have about the same quality of smart home integration. Both are decent for weather/music/timers/basic questions.

I would buy the Google Home unless the Alexa is cheaper.

You have to buy their premium WindFlix servers or else Netflix is blocked.

There are plenty of other free VPN's out there, like ProtonVPN. Just remember that you are the product if a service is free.

Have you tried using an alternative app, like Messenger Lite? There should be plenty of alternatives on the Apple app store.

I'm not sure if this is something wrong with the actual app, or your end only. If it's a problem everybody is having it should be fixed through an update.

I'm not sure what you're asking here. It's entirely possible to do it in this way, but it would cost a lot.

Are you asking whether it's a good idea to put these all into one rack? It's reasonable for a NAS, encoder, server etc. but you may find form factor / cooling issues with gaming PC's and cryptocurrency mining PC's.

By the rule of thumb, we always drive 20 faster than the limit. Most highways are 65; we drive 80 to 85 lol. You couldnt be more spot on.

Write a love triangle romance novel where the writer self inserts themselves as a Mary Sue and is the top of the triangle at the local starbucks ( located on every street comer ) with their ( more convenient than a crummy PC ) MAC book that costed them $5000

This has me rolling on the floor. Well said.

Yes; to clarify, this was with the USB ports on the back panel of the motherboard itself. I'll definitely replace the CMOS battery.

Since it's a used board I'm kinda suspecting a mobo problem as well.

Using that z-score formula, you found the 95th percentile, not a 95% range centered around the mean (you found the range from 0 to 134.552 ).

For this problem, the empirical rule tells us the data values that would include 95% of the data would be plus-or-minus 2 standard deviations from the mean. Meaning:

Lower bound: 128.15+3.88+3.88 Upper bound: 128.15-3.88-3.88

EDIT: this is just a shorter version of what Root_User has already said

Haha thank you! ~

Unfortunately, the second hand Mobo I bought off eBay didn't come with an IO shield. Besides the bit of dust and lack of electrostatic protection for the IO, the shield doesn't do much although it makes the build a lot cleaner.

I love chrome OS too, reliability and safety cannot be beat. I don't know what to do with the gateway now neither, I'm a bit of a hoarder so it's likely going to stay in my house for a while. :P

Honestly, all screws and cables should come included with your components. All you really need are tools:

Required tools

  • Phillips Head Screwdrivers (multiple sizes preferable)
  • A firm nonstatic surface
  • Some patience and dexterity

Optional tools

  • Anti-static strap
  • Flashlight (for getting a better look at whatever's in your case)
  • Another device to Google up problems
  • Zip-ties (most cases come with some)

I'd say that the comprehension really comes with practice.

To be completely frank, it still doesn't make sense to me to this day. To make it better (depending on your class) it's not one of those concepts you will use in later chapters. What I sometimes do is to think of it as an irrational number (ex. pi or e) instead of an imaginary number.

Comment reply on Forum Topic "Square Root of a Negative Number"

  • 2 points

Would that further my understanding?

Well, it's just a two dimensional number line, so it's just easier to compare complex numbers with a real and imaginary part. I don't see how it'll help with understanding the concept, but it's a neat representation when you do calculations between two complex numbers. You could read about the a+bi graph here: https://www.mathsisfun.com/numbers/complex-numbers.html

but you can easily move the drive to another system and have it still work.

I believe the key is tied to the motherboard. Either way, going with full 32/64 bit instead of OEM is a bit safer since a mobo / hard drive failure could take your key with it.

Do you have any specific games you want to play?

  • i5-8600k: decent CPU at the price for gaming
  • the H7 does its job well
  • RGB memory
  • 250gb ssd + 2TB HDD for cost-effective storage
  • the case comes with 3 RGB fans, and a basic controller. The power for the fans will have to be from the motherboard fan pins, though
  • extra fan for the back
  • great-looking glass case
  • full version of Windows will allow transfer when you switch mobo's
  • reputable PSU

  3. I just typed(I honestly don't remember how I got to this speed)
  4. Typeracer
  5. I have a Cherry-MX Blue keyboard, maybe helped me about 3-5 WPM
  6. Like floridaboz said, hard to answer, but maybe 10 degrees from the desk
  7. Very inaccurate, maybe about 90%

I don't see anything terribly wrong with those scores--I'm stumped...

EDIT: Woah, your SSD... Does your mobo support SATA 3.0? That might be the culprit for some performance issues, but not as much to cause audio stutter...

Just the percentile score for your CPU and GPU is good. (for PassMark) Run some SSD tests with PassMark as well.

I think it highly depends on the server you are downloading BeamNg from. Have you tried downloading other large files from chrome? Are they also the same download speed?

Some people also suggest turning off hardware acceleration in chrome:

For a really quick test, the UserBenchmark .exe file is covers all critical components (CPU, GPU, RAM, and storage tests) but is not very conclusive.

Do you think the audio and video stuttering could be associated to different issues? Or do those two happen together all the time? The first course of action I can think of is removing the sound card and just using mobo onboard audio. (or just play without sound for a bit to test if video still stutters)

And to clarify, this only happens when you are gaming? Or does it happen during idle as well?
