I haven't received the monitor yet. Despite the site saying it was in stock, it was actually in back-order so we're going to cancel and order a different monitor, for now, I just got a cheap1080p monitor for the time being.

Yeah I would, but I've heard good things about the NZXT case. I've never used them though. And my case comes for 40 dollars without any fans installed but it's not really worth it since I'd just install them anyway. I would recommend the one I got.

yeah we certainly needed it. It runs great though, max settings on every game (it's a 2080 Ti so anything less would be disappointing)

If I can install the aftermarket cooler should I? It would be extra hastle since it's water and pretty complicated from the looks of it. Would it even be worth it?

That wasn't a very concise answer. All I wanna know is if the cooler for the 2700X would be enough for a few days in case I can't install the water cooler right away.

Also, I'm a 3D artist and realtime raytracing has been a dream of mine for years so it's totally worth it for me. Plus DLSS is amazing if you want to play at higher resolutions. I'm a really specific demographic where the RTX 2080 Ti is awesome, but most people don't need RTX.

If you have the money it's worth it in my graphics-loving framerate-***** opinion, but most people don't have the kind of money to spend, so just get a 10606GB or an RX 500 card and you'll be happy. 1080 SLI is also a good choice.

If you have the kind of money to burn on a Titan V card, upgrade to a 2080 Ti. The price is almost 1/3 that of the Titan and it's still faster in gaming (unless you also use the card for a workbench, then keep titan because it's meant for workloads other than gaming). Hell, you might even want 2 2080Ti's with SLI since that speed is insane. Super nice build with good specs but why the cheap case, if you're going to upgrade at all maybe get the mastercase H500M since it would match the build better.

I looked up the CUDA cores for both (very important for 3D graphics and whatnot) and found Vega 56 has more cores than even a 1080ti. Thanks for the input.

Yeah, it does. I do pretty complex stuff so having more RAM to dedicate to 3D AND have the ability to do other stuff in photoshop while I render will be a huge help.

Like, sure I don't "need" 32GB but since I have the extra bit of cash I think it's a good investment.

Okay, I looked up the price of an 8700K and I'm switching to that. Will the STRIX Z270-E GAMING ATX LGA1151 (https://pcpartpicker.com/product/2Phj4D/asus-strix-z270-e-gaming-atx-lga1151-motherboard-strix-z270-e-gaming) work?

Thanks for all the help

Answer: no it won't, I changed to ASUS ROG STRIX Z370-E GAMING ATX LGA1151 Motherboard

I don't need any more power than the 7700K will grant me, and I can upgrade the CPU later. The PC is for gaming but also editing, 3D design and graphics, photoshop editing (heavy photoshop editing), and using google chrome. And my budget is being pushed as far as it can go for now. What's a solid PSU if I should be spending more than $40 but less than $100? I just changed the motherboard to the STRIX Z270-E GAMING ATX LGA1151 since it's only a bit more expensive and you're right I did need a new one.

Thanks for the input, of course.

Alright. There are a few cheap ways for windows 10 so it's not a big deal if it's the best way to get my new PC working.
