ddr 3 fits any motherboard with a ddr3 slot, so i bought that ram as i can overclock it to to 1866
nice build, may i ask why the ram has got its top half of the heat sinks removed?
okay ill be sure to do that thanks :)
Thankyou :) and yeah I agree I'm upgrading soon
Wow, I might need to push mine, but it's good to know just the power and future proof this cpu has
Yeah I need to experiment, I've seen 6300s as high as 5ghz, however I'm happy with the 4ghz speed for now :)
I'm getting a new graphics card for Christmas, the 460 is only for the time being,
The graphics card is only tempory, the zalman display is attached to a temperature probe which I have in the radiator in the back to give me a rough idea of my cpu temp while in games without having to tab out
8Gb of memory is enough for gaming and some video editing
its a fan controller, used to control my watercooling pump and my fans
Thinking of a powercool modular, they good ?
Swapped it for my old 500w cooler master psu, should that be fine ?
Very funny ;)
Swapped it to my old 500w cooler master psu for the minute, should that be fine?
Yeah I plan on upgrading the psu if I run into any problems however it seems to be doing fine now, and the liquid cooling system was a present from my parents for good grades at school so I had no choice however I like the look of the tubes and things as well it keeps my cpu very cold. I'm planning on upgrading ram soon as 4 isn't enough I agree. And I agree fully about the ugly IDE however it will be took out it was only there to install windows, I rarely use my drive however I'm keeping it in so there isn't a hole in my case as I've lost the front. I plan on getting a samsung ssd some time over these next months as boot up speeds make a difference it me. Thankyou for the advice and feedback it's really appreciated :)
Nope I live in a cold house tho if that effects anything, and I run a aftermarket cooler master fan on my radiator as well as keep the pump at max using my fan controller
Yeah, planning on replacing it to maybe a corsair modular one soon, and the ram is on it's way was soon as I have the money. The graphics card is serving me well for now however I may get a new one around Christmas time
It does I believe, I've ran it using different monitoring software and they all say the same 10-23c
The psu I bought was recommended by CCL in Bradford. However I will monitor it and maybe replace soon
Thankyou for the feedback, the ram is only temporary until I can afford more. And the graphics card I got from my friend however it does everything I need and plays games well. The IDE was only to install windows I'll be removing the CD-Rw cables soon however keeping the drive installed to look tidy. And I fully agree that cable I hate myself however I'm waiting upon a extension to be able to bring it around the back of the board.
Yeah the ram is tempary as I accidently purchased ecc ram, so need to save up until I can afford more
