Im still super satisfied with the purchase. I just got a 4k TV and started playing Assassins creed black flag in 1440p, which it does suprisingly well. Its also reasonable quiet. Very happy with the purchase.

I've experienced some weird stuff though, while playing black flag, the screen sometimes flickers, followed by green screen, and the it returns to the game.. this happens for 2-3 sec... very weird, cant find any one else having this issue, so it might be software related.

Anyway, its still awesome!

Looks awesome :)

Correct me if im wrong, but that looks like a 970 or 980. The new 10xx does not have the strix logo on the side of the card like that...

Are you going to replace it with a 1080 perhaps since you listed it? Good one :)

Great build, though i feel you could have prioritized differently in some places (just constructive criticism)

you've spent almost $60 on extra cooling, where i fell you should've gotten a quad core CPU and 1 fan maybe. Or even a better motherboard, that can control the fans intelligently (the Z170-E might even do this) - unless of course its cause of the astetics.

as you went with the external fan controller, i feel you shouldve gotten a cheaper motherboard (why z170 when your chip is low power and not overclockable) and gotten a better cpu or gpu.

Also, ive built in the 100R myself, and cable management is possible, especially when you have the flat cables from the PSU. I know its not easy in any way, but possible :)

Other than that great build! :)

Awesome build. Though thats some negative airpressure. Wouldnt you benefit from changing the rear fan to intake?

I think you're fine man. youre propably pushing the psu 80-90% which isn't the best, but it works, and its a quality unit, so i think you're good :)

Nice one!

That is pretty ballsy of you with that 300W PSU. Anyway, love people whos acutally pushing their PSU's, seems way more planned out instead of buying something waaaay overkill just to be sure. Super nice build!

Super nice build op, love it. Great cable management too.

I'm really considering this case for a friend of mine, and was wondering how the general build quality of the case is? Also he is a bit noise concerned, so did you notice any vibration or anything else from it?

Also, this is the first build ive seen with removed hdd cages, how did you manage that?

would love a 1070/80 FE, such a sweet card (not the quietest tho), then it would be high range :)

well as for my current setup. I wouldnt know with the 1060 as i havent tried yet. But yes, with a 140x140x25 fan, it fits with the 970 strix.

Sorry to hear, super nice with the refund and the microcenter haha. Its awesome that you guys have such stores. I guess the demand and the market in general isnt big enough in Denmark!

well that sucks, you must convince them that building your own pc is both better value for money and also alot of fun :D oh well not to everyone i guess. But yeah, i know what you mean with the "custom build". I've been upgrading my friends super overpriced ****** HP (where the GTX 745 came from) for quite a while now, and its certainly the most difficult overhaul ive done so far since everything is made to work just with that setup as it were sold.

Thanks man! Yeah, all of em are. roughly $330 directly converted, but its danish prices, and its a about 25% more expensive than the stuff you guys are able to buy (considering you're American). The GPU was brand new, $200, so was the mobo and ram (like 100$) and the case was about $30 second hand.

This. Planning to buy a xbox one controller and the windows adapter in the next few weeks. This works pretty well with SCP Server, but the PS3 controllers are semi broken (all four of them in different ways) so im propably gonna buy atleast 2 xbox controllers for FIFA and such.

You should propably upgrade your PSU to something with some more wattage for that single 1080 and cpu ...

Alright i understand then! I've had a custom loop, ind i personally dont think its worth it ... its so expensive, and its fun for a couple of months, but then you realize youve spent ALOT on a loop that only decreases cpu thermals by a couple degrees... GPU could be worth it for you if you care about temps/acoustics... idk man i would propably use the 212 since its more reliable and wont have hot water running though a pump which might die at some point ^ just my 2 cents

Great build man! I would put the radiator of the cooler on the rear of the case, cause i think the GPU would heat the hoses of the AIO right where it crosses the GPU alot. Other than that, great build!
