EATX Mobo will work, it just overlaps about 75% the pre cut holes for the power wires along the right side of the motherboard, however this still works.
No, however I removed the AIO thermal paste, and replaced it with Artic MX-4, and made sure I covered the entire surface of the AIO, because the paste they put on probably only covered 60% of the surface. And I can tell you my CPU temps dropped 10 Degrees Celsius, and I havent seen the PC over 61 degrees. Thats running all cores at about 65% with a slow preset on streaming 1440p or 2k rather Video to Twitch or any other service.
First couple days after the build i found the 56 at micro center and switched them out
The card was switched out. When i first buiot it, i used a gtx 680, in other pics you will see the republic of gamers
Claims are that it can. According to the data sheet.
I added a pic today I took of the single core R15 run at 132 cb - MP Ratio of 37.77 x
Once I hooked the PSU the Asus Aura software had no controls for it. However the TT rgb software if you look just to the right of the "1 2 3 4 5" buttons at the top left, in recent updates they added a bbn button incantation really describe, other that when pressed it has an option to sync the PSU with the TT RGB software.
I know that people have been using the SDK code to sync aura and TT, that's a little over my head right now. But if SDK is up your alley research it, theirs code that asus aura provides for people.
I'll tell you more in a couple more days I had to order a USB 2.0 9 pin 1 to 3 splitter, so I can see if I can sync the PSU. The TT controller I saw is only Intel compatible, though it might have been a TT splitter. I ordered the NZXT splitter
Ok uploaded a couple photo's before the 1200w was installed, and after. I should probably load the pic with the 2990wx box too lol.
Posted wrong pic from middle of upgrade. I'll fix these pics, psu came in after the cpu. Upgraded to thermaltake 1200w iRGB. I'll get the right one listed tomorrow. Good looking out!
Yea at some point, in the near future I have a few sets of cables im going to need to order, and clean up. Good looking out earlier mentions of Lian Li's on the other build! 8)
Serving the purpose, lol. Had to have some space, and a place to watch some football 8)
Right on! Might update the 680 sometime soon. But right this m in note it serves the workstation load. Use a 6900k on the gaming machine. Still love it!
Btw custom cables will be in the future I'm currently using braided black extensions I had laying around. I'll most likely look for something white, unless anyone has any good suggestions. I'm just really undecided which I would want to go with, after having all that rgb.
I'm still waiting more solid info, graphs, and video comparisons by legit youtubers before I go up to a 2080ti. I do own a 1080ti strix oc in the gaming PC I could swap out. Keep in kind the gaming PC is no where near as nice as the Stream workstation
Upgrading the power supply to an iRGB 1200 from thermaltake after bit, when I reboot it up I'll explore the Xsplit options. Good looking out! Thanks for the reply!
LoL that GPU. Yeah I hear ya, i put the 1080ti in the gaming PC, I have a couple 1070's chugging away I could possibly put in this pc... we will see. Thanks for the reply!
Good info on the 2933, figures it would be because I wanted that rgb silliness that causes the wall.
