No doubt. And the metal frame of the C70 doesn't help either. At least it has handles. Thanks!

Seeing the window rotated just blew my mind. I don't know why I never tried that. I have two C70 cases and didn't notice. Will make my life complete now! Thanks

I used an RGB LED lighting kit from amazon, but ended up replacing it immediately with the new NZXT HUE+. I pre ordered the HUE+ so luckily I got one in the first delivery, I believe they are sold out. The reason I moved to the HUE+ is because their LED strips have magnets in them, therefore they do not loose the stickiness or fall off like the others did 2 days after installation.

They are installed top front and bottom - 3 strips total

Thanks and best!

I couldn't ask for a better monitor under $1000. It's great for gaming as well, but I am also not a professional gamer

The FTWs I can rate to the 970SCs and they, at full fan speed are extremely quiet compared to the 970s.

I run my fans somewhat aggressive, so lower noise is great

My new case fans arrive today. I ended up ordering 4 Noctua NF-S12B fans to replace the corsair fans in my case. I am, for the time being leaving the stock SP Corsair fans on the radiator. When I install the fans, either tonight or tomorrow, I will take new pics. This time I'll use the dslr and try to get some good shots.

I would assume he went into the bios and set a zero speed limit on the cpu fans. I had to do this same with my Corsair H100iGTX because the fans are controlled by the corsair link

Temps are pretty even across all the evga cards, with the exception of the hybrids. I typically do not over clock so I cannot speak on OCd Temps. The fan noise is significantly lower on the TIs than the 970 SCs

CP-8920049 is the dc power cables and CP-8920057 24-pin power cable. These are the codes for the red. The apx power cable does not come in the kit, it must be ordered separate. The 8 pin cpu power cable does and there are two of them

They are corsair's own sleeved cables. check out their website and make sure to look at the correct cables for your power supply series and wattage. I ordered them from Amazon because they were cheap and quick to ship as always. By cheap I mean they were the price of a nice power supply.

Thanks everyone. It wasn't my intent for my daughter to end up with the i5, I just got a little carried away on my upgrade. Either way, I think her pc will last (fingers crossed) until she graduates college... er.. grade school ;)
