The fans are great. I didn't have a problem with the software. I would be wary of RGB settings that are reactive. One RGB setting in particular polls continuously. This polling causes constant CPU usage. I would say the software takes some level of experimentation. I have had more issues with windows updates breaking the task schedule for TT.
Yes, the software allows you to turn off the RGB.
Love the build. A little curious about the fan configuration. Is the one exhaust fan enough?
Quadro was the right choice. Nice build.
Ultimately I think the price drop will be significant. Ultimately... Apparently mining caused Nvidia to over build the 10 series GPUs. The resulting excess inventory has created a conundrum. The good news. Price points are price points. There will always be GPUs ranging from cheap to super expensive. Release new cards at higher price points? Then old cards will see a minor price reduction. Eventually as old inventory is used up the newer cards will fall into those open gaps. Totally based on the excess inventory rumor.
RX580>1060 in work station applications. 1060 if you were doing a pure gaming build. The RX580 is a decent workstation alternative.
Nice. I plan to do a custom loop one day. Way down on my to do list...but one day! Nice black and white build.
Is that a single core overclock or across all cores? Delid? Nice either way.
No problems. Good work.
Can you post some full tower pics?
You are right. There is no way a 1080Ti is at 42C under full load. Nice looking build, but no on the load temps.
You may need to get another 16GB for 4k editing. Nice part over all part selection. The cable management is a little baffling.
I am going to finish some mods and get better pictures. Same with my gaming build. I will repost this weekend.
Hmm not sure if the Dark Rock is compatible with he ram height.
