Comment reply on Zlatin's Completed Build: Pike - NZXT Manta dorm build

You can look up videos for GTX 970 gameplay. I wouldn't imagine that pictures of the PC under load would look all that different, save a game being displayed on the monitor. Regardless, I was under the impression this was a place to share builds, not necessarily performance. Nonetheless, if you're that interested I COULD take a picture of the innards at 100% load, see if anything changes.

/satire, thanks for the feedback. I've got a PS4 controller too but have found it to be vastly inferior. Xbox controllers just work and feel that much better imo. To each their own.

They're actually not bad. AIAIAI makes some solid cans.

I wasn't too fond of having to charge it every night, and found all the customizability cool at first, but then as soon as I realized that my hand doesn't really fit it all that well regardless of the setup, it lost it's sparkle. I found it a bit too shallow for my hand. Once I dropped it down a staircase and the right button lost it's clickiness, I decided I'd rather just try the deathadder and fix it if I didn't fancy the new mouse.

In the end, I think it comes down to what kind of mouse you like. The Ouroboros would have suited me just fine, had it not broken, and the fact that the deathadder exists makes choosing any other mouse difficult. The Ouroboros is attempting to fit everyone, and does alright doing so. It just so happened to be that my kind of mouse was the deathadder.

Awesome build! Love the color combo of the 780t and your build. Looks like you've got a ton of space for expansion. Add some LEDs and you're set.

Where does a 15 yr old get 3200$?

Great work.

Yeah I started off with a single 8gb stick then stuck another one in a year later. Didn't think I'd need 16gb when I first built the thing.

The pic with the ouroboros is actually from before I upgraded, I didn't like it much so its just sitting around in my desk after suffering a fall.

Airflow question: Did you find that having your top fans blow in, rather than out, enhanced airflow? I've got my 2 top 120s pushing out, with a single 230 up front pulling in and a 140 in back pushing out.

I stumbled upon this beauty when looking for a custom front panel for my prodigy. This is pretty much exactly what I wanted my build to look like :D.

Im surprised it turned out looking as good as it did, cable management in this teeny case was tricky

How is that GPU holding out? I might use the same one for my build.

Great build, but the ssd is overpriced. You could get a 120gb pny ssd for ~15-20$ more.
