this is a completely new thing though, and your the only person ive seen suggesting 11gigs
do you have proof?!?
none of us have proof obviously, but gamers nexus and gamer meld both seem to agree
2070 super or 2070 or 2080 or... yea, lots of options at that price point, can you give more details on what your doing with that machine? may help in recommending one
they wont be able to run many games in just a few years, the new standard seems to be 6c/12t and anything less than that, or that doesn't have Hyper threading or SMT is kind of a bad choice in 2020, when it comes to longevity
the "3080Ti" is also supposed to have 12 GB of VRAM
Upgrade the RAM to 3600 speed for best performance, and you can often find 3600 for cheaper than 3200
make sure to select the NVNEC encoder in OBS, dm me on discord if you need help setting all that complicated stuff up! (it can get tricky) ImaSnakySnake#7624
yes, a very decent one (i wouldnt call it amazing, but it is definitely plenty of cooling)
how much are you willing to spend? and what GPU do you have now in the gaming build? if its a turing card then it will have the new NVENC encoder, and you might not even need a second PC
and unless you plan to OC anything, the cooler that comes with the 3600x should work just fine! (its much better than intels stock cooler)
3600x no doubt
EVGA BR 450 W 80+ Bronze Certified ATX Power Supply
start with 16 and see how it goes, should be plenty for most workloads... keyword is most
air or liquid?
id switch to a 3900x and only 32GB of RAM
AHAHA this is like one of the best gaming systems you can buy. overkill
can you record with Geforce?!?! i use OBS
yes theoretically you want 99% for the "best" solution, but you could probably get away with coca-cola
i wouldnt do the double streaming PC setup, if you get a turing card, it comes with the NVENC encoder and it uses minimal PC resources besides the dedicated encoder. much cheaper and much more effecient
yea the issue here is: Bernie Sanders is openly a socialist. This is America. the democratic (radicals i guess) are only united under one thing: beat Trump. Again, HES A SOCIALIST, THIS IS AMERICA.
to be fair, it was under the off topic section, so..... yea, should have been allowed
honestly, i believe thats possible, but i dont see their evidence. i would like to know EXACTLY what statistics they are looking at, because numbers are very manipulative...
ok thank you guys!
nevermind, it just went back up to 85$
its in the US as well now
can i buy the cooler from you? edit: 15$ for shipping (im in the US, let me know if thats an issue) and the product. edit2: i need the LGA1151 socket mount, so... yea i hope you have that :)
could you backup into like your google drive or something? not really advisable, but its a last resort :/
I own the corsair virtuoso (the new one) and its like 170$, but goes on discount for less than 140 occasionally, and they are SUPERRR comfortable, and come with a really nice mic if you need that. also good sound quality, i guess thats kind of important
your good on RAM and CPU, really. unless you REALLLYYYY want too, then id upgrade to either the 3600x or the 3700x, (again depending on budget)
upgrade the GPU to (any) turing card, from the 1650 super to the 2080Ti. depending on your budget. the turing cards have the new NVENC encoder for streaming, its comparable to x264 medium, rather than x264 very fast from the older (pastel) NVENC
XD why is this a thing?
task manager is probably hurting your gaming performance more than your hard drive is.
corsair k55, its a full keyboard, not swappable keys, but they are a really nice membrane and pretty quiet. its also like 40$
r5 1600 AF? you said 12nm so id assume so, but thats cool that you got your hands on one :) edit: yea i think Zerk is right
no problem! the only big issue with small mobos like that is an NVMe SSD, but i dont see any of those in your build. also. i believe that one still have one space for a 2280 NVMe on the top, the other ones would be on a DIMM.2 or on the back, both of which could be a hassle if you dont know what your doing. but again, i dont think you have to worry about that :)
just fine :)
oh! im sorry, i didnt mean to say that i was buying, im just giving my opinion on what i think it should cost. sorry :/. honestly, if you put some new hardware in it, you could get away with 400$
yea i saw that GN video, thanks for the clarification, i dont know too much about the chip names XD
corsair virtuoso. love them
the picture has 6 sides but your name is octa... and idk, sorry i just really wanted to point that out
corsair K55 and... idk i have a terrible mouse so i dont have anything good to recommend. the k55 is like 50$, no mechanical keys, but very high quality, quiet, membrane keys. RGB included :)
air cooler? im guessing you plan to make everything water cooled and get rid of the cooler right? and you can buy piping and put a drain over the PSU area, and you can drain it with a funnel and try to not ruin the whole computer (XD) but yea, next to the GPU coming out from the pump is probably the best area.
350$? how old is it?
no the ultra is the OC version, it is slightly more expensive and offers slightly more performance. and... doesnt the KO come with the TU-102? or a TU-103? or whatever its called? (as opposed to the normal 2060 GPU)
yea, talk to that guy and tell him like 10000 people disagree. i see the wifi card thing, that might be an issue, but i put windows 10 on a 4GB RAM i3-530 machine, works just fine (no im not missing a number, it was a 3 DIGIT CPU)
this hurts my brain, lol. pretty soon we will be able to use the motherboard, or the cooler, or the side panel, as a third (or second :p) monitor XD
