You probably do not need an after market cooler tbh. I'd go with a slightly better psu and you may want a full modular just to make the build easier/less spaghetti wiring. Other wise it looks really solid!
What is the price range? With mine craft being more a cpu game, you could easily run it with an ad apu which would be much cheaper than getting a graphics card as well. Depending on how much power the rig will use, I'd say ~450 watts should be good. I'd go with a gold+ but since you aren't using that much power ant should be fine.
It is really good! Had no issues so far and the bios is easy to use. I haven't done any ocing yet but plan on soon.
No the airflow is great! The only problem is that it gets cold around the computer :P
Apu would be better for minecraft
This build was made a few months ago i just updated some of the parts sorry for confusion.
The price in Malaysia
Why liquid cool a non overclockable cpu?
Get a power new power supply. The ones in the cases will fry your whole build. Its only an extra 30+$ and maybe invest in a one tb drive
Awesome build! Looks just like mine!
Yes i plan on doing that soon
Budget dont know what i was thinking.
Yeah expecialy with a friend or two
I wanted it for boot and also my family mat use this for burning cds.
It would run cool and you can always add more case fans
Mobo Houses memory slots. Most mobos have 4 slots unless you go atx mini. (Just a smaller motherboard How much ram it can handle 8, 16, 32, 64 and what type of frequency it can handle. 1333 mhz 1600mhz (Recommended) 1866mhz and more Sli/Crossfire is having multiple graphics cards. Crossfire is amd and Sli is Nvidia. You can look at if it has usb 3.0 ports. This website shows whether parts are compatible but check if the cpu has the same socket type. Intel i5 4670k= lga 1150 socket. Thats just some things im probally missing some things as well.
Very clean build +1
Could you make the parts you did not buy 0$? That would be nice!
Yeah i guess. Just never heard or seen anyone use one.
I would go with the i5 4690k that is what i just got and building tonight or tommoro. It its the newest cpu from intel. It has the best Temps.
No, no i just didnt feel like that was the best. I fell like you should never cheap out on a psu.
If you go with this build get a better psu please. This one wouldnt last long and could fry parts.
http://pcpartpicker.com/p/8M2GhM there its little more but you can always do a little modification
I have heard that corsair has bad capacitors and don't last as long and i have yet to here anything bad about antec. What ever you feel comfortable with.
I don't think that she will need 8gbs of ram. The duel core should be plenty of processing and good integrated graphics. You could always go for a micro atx. psu is perfect and mb will be great.
http://pcpartpicker.com/p/JX3n99 if you want dedicated gpu i can make a different one or if you want intel
No bid deal
What are you doing mainly? If you are gamming i would say get a i5 4690k then upgrade to a better graphics card.
Gamming or what is the use?
Thanks! I updated it.
You do not need the cpu cooler since you are not over clocking. I would go with a 1tb wd drive instead of 500gb not much price difference.
Is there any way you could get a student discount on your os? Or run Linux?
