The all black with a few green accents looks really clean. Also that case looks like the perfect size, I love the way it looks completely filled and there's no extra space. +1
I've never seen a Nuka Cola Quantum themed build. +1 For originality and an overall very clean build.
As a content creator, I wish ShadowPlay wasn't so freaking useful. Otherwise I woulda made the switch a long time ago.
I can instantly tell just from the pics when it's a build from you. And I agree, theyes should have had the base model be 4GB or at least made the 6GB way cheaper.
One of the cleanest builds I've ever seen. +1000 if I could.
Probably my favorite story for a PC build.
As a tank main, nothing gets on my nerves more than this little invincible ice girl that can heal herself, block me, and somehow freeze a giant pig just as fast as everyone else. I like the PC more than the character. +1
I think the black on the heatsink of the H7 would have really tied the black and white theme together rather than having the bid silver heatsink of the 212.
Did you read the description?
That does make sense, although seeing what AMD has been doing lately, especially with their GPUs with the whole "VR for $200" RX 480 stuff, I'd be very surprised if they didn't have something sub $100 for the more budget minded people.
How does 40 dolalrs convert to USD?
Ah, ok. I'm not really good in the specific specs of the parts, I just put em together, so I was just comparing the specs on the PCPartPicker pages. Thanks for explaining.
Why so many questions? Questioning every part of a system isn't really constructive criticism.
Still a good build. I feel your pain as my 660 is a bit lacking when it comes to new games as well, but my processor is even worse than yours so at least you have that going for you.
Good to see another AMD build. Gonna be honest, I won't click a build that has a Skylake CPU and a 10 Series GPU because there are so many of them, I like to see some variety. +1
It's fine. And yeah, I know, but I was choosing looks over function when it came to RAM since it all really performs the same. If I were to go function I would definitely spend less on it. Thanks for the feedback.
I did include in the post that the cooler is from my current build, so I wouldn't see a point to not using it over the stock cooler since it would otherwise not be used.
Yup. One of my favorites too. It may not fit very well yet, but my planned end result for this PC is a black and red theme and I got a Ruby Rose logo vinyl off the RoosterTeeth store that I will put on it so it will really be Ruby Rose.
But, they're not?
Wish I could afford this kind of stuff for my first build! Definitely a +1 from me :D
Don't understand why you got downvoted. You were just looking out for a dude to make sure he didn't get his build taken down.
Yeah. I do too, since my pc is used for gaming and the watermark doesn't show up in full screen. And because yeah, there are a lot of ways to get around the personalization blocks.
To be fair, you can use Windows 10 Pro without activating it for free and it's 100% legal. You just get a watermark that says to activate it and lose a lot of the personalization options.
Normally I'd assume older parts were bought before, but this says it was built in November so I gotta ask what you were thinking.
I'm fairly certain this isn't what he spent. He doesn't have any custom prices set.
It's literally in the name and the parts list.
I'm saying that upgrading from an X4 to an X6 wouldn't be worth it. You're getting a slight performance increase when there are better choices.
Some of them are, in the case of this it didn't work.
Yes, I play CSGO mainly (over 1000 hours) so it was the goal of this pc originally. I've tried H1Z1 KOTK, not Just Survive, and I believe it can run decently but it doesn't support my monitor resolution so I can't actually play it. Although, since this is a used PC, I wouldn't recommend trying to replicate it exactly.
Lol, when I put the RAM in, it automatically set itself to 1333 to match the other sticks, but I have since over clocked the older ones to 1600 so they all run at at 1600 now.
Because Phenoms are amazing for the price. Wish I could say the same about the case though, it's a real pain to work in with flimsy drive mounts, not very much room behind, and DUST. This case gets dusty sooooo easily.
X6 wouldnt be very big of a jump. I plan on waiting till I can afford something like an FX 8320. I also plan on upgrading to the 1060 at some point.
Oh, no lol. Sorry, I meant that this started as a $250 build. It's fine :)
My upgrades are literally like $100, those are $226. Not to mention the desc says I already bought the parts. That's why I was in the opinions section, not the one asking for a build.
Mainly Skyrim, and that's with the settings maxed. I lowered the setting all the way to the lowest, but the CPU is still maxed, so I get the same FPS as I get when I have all the setting all the way up and have graphical mods installed. It's kindof stupid. Not that it isn't playable, I get a locked 60 FPS all the time, I just want more out of it.
Well, saving for those would take a very long time. I started saving when AM3+ originally launched, and it took me till July this year to finally be able to buy a PC, even then it was only $250. By the time I save up for something like that it will already be outdated. Thanks for the feedback though.
Sweet, I actually live in Washington :)
Great for your needs.
Ok cool. Yeah, I use my PS4 for competitive COD because that's where the MLG scene is. Other than that I only play the games my PC can't run on it.
Competitive Call of Duty on Xbox?
No worries everyone makes mistakes, lol
Ram doesn't have to be the same amount to work together and it won't limit it.
Great build! Good to see someone that actually has a use for the i7 rather than just having it because they can.
"A good friend of mine gave me the 780 Ti for free" Reading the description helps.
