ThunderCls 1 Build 2 points 29 months ago

Nowadays $350 for a GTX 970 is not a really good deal overall....it's not a bad GPU though, actually it's great, but old

NoodleV2's Completed Build: Tainted Red Noodle Machine

ThunderCls 1 Build 1 point 30 months ago

Even though is right that this GPU for 1080p is overkill/waste it's not the end of the world, at least you know that you could toss any game you want for some years to come all maxed out and get above 80fps sustained lol

Jason2016's Completed Build: BELLY OF THE BEAST!

ThunderCls 1 Build 1 point 30 months ago

Cute tiny build, I like it....Though I'd rather go with a higher end GPU (1070 or 1080) since you already went for a $235 MOBO and a $325 CPU...wich for the sole purpose of gaming nowadays is kinda overkill

Lost_Potato's Completed Build: My First Custom Budget Build

ThunderCls 1 Build 1 point 30 months ago

This is the second build that I see here on pcpartpicker with a 4 fans radiator setup on the same side of the case. Your build looks amazing, you got a very consistent color scheme there +1

MinotPanda's Completed Build: Razer H440 Build

ThunderCls 1 Build 2 points 30 months ago

Nice then

joelioz's Completed Build: Project: Snowspeeder

ThunderCls 1 Build 2 points 30 months ago

This is not just a PC, this is ART to my eyes...AMAZING job dude, this looks immaculate. +1 PD: A GTX 1080 HOF Edition would have been the cherry on top of that cake..lol

ahalokid's Completed Build: First Build: Red/Black color scheme, GTX 1070

ThunderCls 1 Build 1 point 30 months ago

Are those radiator fans working as "intake fans"? If so...did you notice that you are throwing all that hot air coming from cooling your CPU, directly upon your GPU?. Nice looking and solid build tho +1

raiden8816's Completed Build: FoxDie revision 2016 - Overkill all the things!

ThunderCls 1 Build 1 point 30 months ago

One thing I don't get...What's the point on using custom color psu cable extensions when you are throwing a bunch of "ultra-silent-but-ugly-as-hell" noctua fans?...It doesn't make any sense...it just destroys your "black/blue color scheme" or whatever other color theme you were trying to achieve.

MinotPanda's Completed Build: Razer H440 Build

ThunderCls 1 Build 1 point 30 months ago

Why going with a 980 instead of a 1070?

frankybuilds's Completed Build: TITAN - Skylake / GTX 1080 Build

ThunderCls 1 Build 1 point 30 months ago

Nice rig and a great color scheme consistency +1

Chino1's Completed Build: Ultimate Gaming PC

ThunderCls 1 Build 2 points 30 months ago

This is stunning....and if you would have used custom color psu cables or extensions to fit that yellow highlights...dude!! Other than that, this is exquisite...nice job +1

kevinshinobi's Completed Build: Skylake Mini ITX build

ThunderCls 1 Build 1 point 30 months ago

The RX 480 is not too far as in performance of the GTX 970, the only real difference is price tho...My recommendation is to grab some 1TB HDD at least, to put your files there and leave those 250 GB for your OS and some selected games/apps you would like to run/load faster...other than that...nice build +1...ohh and yeah...some cable management there dude...yeah

remiscs's Completed Build: Inwin805 Linux Mint Build - REMISCS

ThunderCls 1 Build 1 point 31 months ago

This looks stunning....I love it, great job +1

EmRe-55's Completed Build: Corsair 400C MSI Build (2014-2016)

ThunderCls 1 Build 2 points 31 months ago

Nice parts choice +1

macrow's Completed Build: Midnight Bliss

ThunderCls 1 Build 1 point 31 months ago

The MX279H only has a 60Hz refresh rate, so it tends to stutter and tear during fast panning or complex motion sequences of more than 60fps. The games are not capped, your monitor is. I would have gone with a higher end GPU though, maybe an RX470

BlueGoo21's Completed Build: Gaming Rig and anything else

ThunderCls 1 Build 2 points 31 months ago

That's a monster of GPU XD...nice build man +1

azzy5463's Completed Build: First watercooled build

ThunderCls 1 Build 1 point 31 months ago

And he would also loose performance by using a secondary PCI-E slot instead of the primary one

haitim01's Completed Build: Core P3 / ROG Build

ThunderCls 1 Build 1 point 31 months ago

Not a huge fan of "wall-mounted" PC, but this looks great, nice job man +1

CHoward70's Completed Build: DedTrax Red

ThunderCls 1 Build 2 points 31 months ago

It looks pretty bad a55...congratz dude +1

PD: I just don't get why using 6 fans just for your radiator

thatguymoon's Completed Build: Customac Genesis for 4k Editing

ThunderCls 1 Build 4 points 31 months ago

Nice build. You would need some cable management there though

1Reshiram12's Completed Build: Skylake & Pascal Full 1500$ Build

ThunderCls 1 Build 1 point 31 months ago

Nice build, you don't have too much headroom for your components with that PSU, but you are still slightly under the requirements though
