Nowadays $350 for a GTX 970 is not a really good deal overall....it's not a bad GPU though, actually it's great, but old

Even though is right that this GPU for 1080p is overkill/waste it's not the end of the world, at least you know that you could toss any game you want for some years to come all maxed out and get above 80fps sustained lol

Cute tiny build, I like it....Though I'd rather go with a higher end GPU (1070 or 1080) since you already went for a $235 MOBO and a $325 CPU...wich for the sole purpose of gaming nowadays is kinda overkill

Are those radiator fans working as "intake fans"? If so...did you notice that you are throwing all that hot air coming from cooling your CPU, directly upon your GPU?. Nice looking and solid build tho +1

One thing I don't get...What's the point on using custom color psu cable extensions when you are throwing a bunch of "ultra-silent-but-ugly-as-hell" noctua fans?...It doesn't make any sense...it just destroys your "black/blue color scheme" or whatever other color theme you were trying to achieve.

The RX 480 is not too far as in performance of the GTX 970, the only real difference is price tho...My recommendation is to grab some 1TB HDD at least, to put your files there and leave those 250 GB for your OS and some selected games/apps you would like to run/load faster...other than that...nice build +1...ohh and yeah...some cable management there dude...yeah

The MX279H only has a 60Hz refresh rate, so it tends to stutter and tear during fast panning or complex motion sequences of more than 60fps. The games are not capped, your monitor is. I would have gone with a higher end GPU though, maybe an RX470

Nice build, you don't have too much headroom for your components with that PSU, but you are still slightly under the requirements though
