550w -600w is the min for a r9 390
I have a MSI R9 390x running on a 650wpsu
no game really needs 6-cores so you could go with a 4-core amd cpu. also I would get a better SSD.

cablemanagement is awful! fix that.
more pictures! return that psu for a better one!
I think he means your desk wires! looks nasty! please fix.... also why is your desktop backwards?
work some more on that cable management! +1 for not having your computer on the naked carpet.
Clean build! Also don't be scared to write some reviews of the parts you brought on the site.
Need more pics
Pro tip, route the 8 pin cpu under the motherboard if no cutout is there. looks awful
would be better to just flipping the PSU upright since you have it on the carpet like that, the carpet will give your psu bad air flow and make it burn out fast.
That PSU is way to low to run a 970, you'll need atlease a 500W PSU but recommended 600W PSU. but good build other wise.
Here's a powerful $5000 build. Use the SSD for your OS & programs, Raid 5 all the HDD's and use for your main storage.
videos on Raid 5 video 1 | video 2 you shouldn't need a raid card for raid 5, the on board motherboard raid controller will work just fine; It supports Raids 0,1,5,10
Yes, the 780 ti is about the level of a 980 in performance or a little lower. Just look here http://www.tomshardware.com/reviews/gaming-graphics-card-review,3107-7.html
Watch this GTX 980 Ti Review & Benchmark vs. 980, Titan X, 780 Ti - https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=fL9EshHlU4Q
Would you upload it to imgur and share the link with me kind sir? I would very much appreciate it <3
omg where did you get that wallpaper from?
Maybe the SATA SSD's will get cheaper now to where hard drives are today, $50 for a 1TB SSD! I can only dream. But now I'm going to have to upgrade my Samsung 951 M.2 with one of these beasts if the benchmarks looks good compared to the 951, ******* I just got my 3.0x4 line M.2. I'm loving the all black PCB, to hell with all the green PCB's
Also the SM951 isn't apart of Samsung magician software so with that said the 950 Pro will most likely be getting rapid mode with a update to magician. So I really want to see a 950 Vs 951 face off.
got my windows 10 64-bit cd and some blank DvDs from them no problem. they have fast shipping too.
Pictures of inside the case please!
Go for it! more ram would help with 4k video editing/rendering time, no need to be leery of that AIO cooler as it's one of the best/newest coolers from corsair. as far as the Seagate Enterprise NAS 3TB drive goes get two or more and raid 1 for two drives and RAID 5 for three or more to stop data loss.
Use the SSD for your OS, RAID 1 the HDD's to stop data loss. If you don't know what that mean; "RAID 1 consists of an exact copy (or mirror) of a set of data on two or more disks" so if one drive dies you'll still have all your data and just need to replace the bad drive.
For the double monitor display.
That CPU cooler sucks if you were to overclock that CPU, should use something a little stronger. why no SSD for the os? he could upgrade the storage later.
looks ok to me.
change out the 950's for a single EVGA GeForce GTX 970 4GB SSC ACX 2.0 Video Card. the GTX 970 would be faster than to two 950's in SLI. you could also go with a R9 390 as it has 8GB of vram which will help you in play a heavily modded Skyrim
Yes it is, Evga B-stock a GTX 960 for $160 over a GTX 950
using it to keep my Samsung SM951 128GB cool, I posted pictures of how I mounted the fan on the adapter.
I'm sorry but Intel Xeon E3-1231 V3 3.4GHz Quad-Core Processor is better than those weak old cores.
LOl why are the pictures so small?
Yea, I hear you. many thank yous to you. I'm just joking tho. lol.
Yes, its more than enough for the OS, programs and a few games.
What are you the PSU police?
over kill? hardly SLI 2-4way GTX 980 Ti's is over kill. You will be fine unless your gaming on 1080p with one screen then maybe a little over kill. a GTX 970 or R9 390 works just as good for 1080p/1444p if you want to tune it down a little.
Intel preforms better as AMD has more cores but weaker ones. If you want more core for less money try a Intel Xeon E3-1231 V3 3.4GHz Quad-Core Processor out for size, It has four strong cores with Hyper-Threading. It'll own a AMD FX-8350 4.0GHz 8-Core Processor. There are a ton of youtube videos about this type of thing, This is a good one https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=qke9xo_Rb64
make one in mini ITX size!
you can buy a Cooler Master GeminII M4 CPU Cooler with is low profile and replace the stock fan with a Noctua 120mm PWM Fan.
Dude it'll be fine your acting like I'm using a AMD FX-9590 8-Core overclocked to 5.5GHz or something.
But in the small chance you are right I will just buy a Cooler Master GeminII M4 CPU Cooler and replace the stock fan with a Noctua NF-F12 industrialPPC-3000 PWM 120mm Fan.
as I had installed two inside front fans it was a little hard to get that sucker in but I got it to work out.
