I roam with mute, I set three jammers on objective and keep one on me to be placed at my current location and stand on to block Lion & Dokkaebi abilities. Dosen't work 100% of the time but when it does, I become toxic and tea bag their dead bodies.

Nice build. Do you need 8gb of ram just for Freenas plus 1GB of ram for every 1TB of storage? or would 16GB of ram be enough to run Freenas and for 16TB storage?

Comment reply on Forum Topic "Blower VS Open air GPU coolers"

  • 1 point

Blower is best for low air flow situation such as small case or SLI where there isn't space in-between the GPU's. Open is best for decent air flow situations mid size to large cases.

Open cools the GPU best but will blow the heat into your case so good air flow will be need to not heat up other parts. Blower just will blow the heat out the back of your case but its not that effective as open in cooling the gpu.

Yeah it's better to get good headphones and get a microphone separately.

I use a pair of Philips SHP9500S Headphones with a Blue Snowball iCE Microphone / Boom Scissor Arm & Pop filter.

The headphones are open back, they leak sound, so if you have the volume up other people can hear what you are listening too. But I love them for FPS games, I can hear where every sound is exactly coming from. I'm just waiting for someone to say that I'm hacking because I knew where they were.

If you like you could turn the headphones into a headset by buying a V-MODA BoomPro

Comment reply on Forum Topic "My PC crashes while under load"

Yeah.. I can't make out what the error code that is in that picture, do you know the code?

Has it always crashed since you built it? Did it 1st start to crash after you installed games? try uninstall things to see if its a program.

make sure that all of your drivers are up to date.

Have you tried doing a Recovery Reset trough windows 10 settings?

it may be that hardware is malfunctioning.

Is your CPU over heating? use HWMonitor to find out. if so try reapplying new thermal paste. If that don't work to get your CPU down in temp get a better CPU cooler.

Not over heating? see if you can still RMA the CPU.

Use one stick of ram or another set of RAM to see if that the problem, if so RMA the RAM.

Just make a IKEA countertop desk. Pick your Countertop and Legs or Drawers. Also get a cable management rack. You can cut the countertop to the length you want and cover the edges with the 2 included edging strips.

Comment reply on Forum Topic "Stupid Question: Will airport security damage my drives?"

  • 2 points

They won't, nothing strong enough to damage anything dealing with tech. To damage a HDD you would need a very powerful electromagnet. SSD's are tough and can take a hit so would take a sledge hammer to break them. Now some of your parts or whole PC going thru baggage claim might be damaged as your stuff maybe ruff handled somewhere.

Comment reply on Forum Topic "sound in rainbow six siege"

No sound card needed as you don't need headphones over 32 OHMs. Just buy yourself some open back headphones and a mic, open headphones have a nice full soundstage inwhich allows you to hear your environment more clearer with that direction is much more noticeable/easier to pinpoint in games. I use these Philips SHP9500S Over-Ear Headphone $56.99 or Open-box for $45.99 they are well known as the best price to performance ratio for open back headphones out there. As for a mic you can buy V-MODA BoomPro mic this will give you one of the best headsets for the money...

You just need a single internet connection to connect to a VPN. A VPN is basically a mask your PC wears and 3rd parties/ISP's only see said mask. So your PC using your internet connects to the VPN thorough software in-which your data is then encrypted and your IP Address is then hidden and changed with that your location is also changed, said VPN then uses its own internet network to connect you to the internet; the speed of the new connection varies upon VPN services.

I use this anti-virus Eset NOD32

I use this VPN PIA / Video on how VPN's works BTW using a VPN has a much slower internet speed than not using one.

I use firefox internet browser with the extensions Ublock Origin a nice add blocker, No Script help keeps unwanted web page content from loading unless you allow it and HTTPS Everywhere it automatically uses HTTPS security on many sites. Lastly I use duckduckgo a search engine that doesn't track you, plus Firefox also has private browsing with tracking protection this only stops your PC from remembering your browser history, your internet company will still see and remember your browser history this is what a VPN is for.

Basically do whats in this video and to get to Disk Management in windows 10 simply right click on the start menu then click on Disk Management.

To change the boot order you need to do do so by entering your BIOS. to do that restart your PC and look at the text at either the top or bottom of your screen, it'll tell you to press F12 or something close. Do that fast as the system will start quick, if you miss the window for pressing that right key just restart you PC again.

NVIDIA most likely wont ever support freesync. There isn't a AMD 480x only RX 480 with 4GB/8GB VRAM. Yes there is better GPUs, The R9 Fury, R9 Nano and the R9 Fury X (in that order of there Performance.)

Get yourself a Retail copy of Windows 10 and then install it on a much faster/more portable SSD Jump Drive over a HDD. Will work because a retail version of Windows won't be locked to one single motherboard like OEM version.

That Noctua NH-L9i 33.8 CFM CPU cooler isn't meant to cool anything more than 65W TDP, that i7 is 91 Watts and the cpu could overheat if pushed to hard without even overclocking.

I would drop the CPU cooler as the stock Intel one will work just fine on a none K CPU then get a better SSD like a Samsung 750/850 EVO.

Also I believe that case comes with a fan speed controller so no need to buy one.
