The GTX 1060 is rumored to be USD 249.99, so if you'd like you'd get that but it could bottleneck the CPU :)

You could've got an ASUS MX279h for 259.99. Does the job for a lot cheaper.

I'll do a lot more digging on computer parts. Also, I can still price match ;)

Other then that , I would need to be in my store to verify all the prices.

Just a look: we sell a 980 card at $570.99. With the discount it's $463.99.

The main reason why I went with that 970 card is because of my Best Buy discount. I can literally get all of these parts, with the exception of the motherboard, cooler and tower, (with the division for free) at a cheaper and affordable price and have more to spend.

You don't need 4 titans lol. But for your CPU the 8 cores will be esseciently more efficient then 6. In this case your clock speed wouldn't be that bad of an issue. Overall nice build!! +1

To my knowledge GPU's perform however the game needs it to perform but, I could be wrong.

You can try redownloading the drives for the GPU or setting your GPU to whatever percentage you'd like.

Here's some links to troubleshooting:

There you go man! There's also threads on here for GPU's. I hope you fix your problem!

Here's some reliable options for a RAM upgrade.

Kingston - http://pcpartpicker.com/part/kingston-memory-hx316c10fbk216

Simply because kingston is great with RAM and it's also at a decent price of $64.99

Mushkin - http://pcpartpicker.com/part/mushkin-memory-997069s

An underground company but, hey it's RAM and the reviews are great so why not?

Crucial - http://pcpartpicker.com/part/crucial-memory-bls2kit8g3d1609ds1s00

Trutworthy RAM, but the colorway is horrible.

Since you're limited by your my Micro ATX motherboard, these are the best I can find!

Good luck!

Thing is, I would love for my power supply to be Fully-Modular just in case I want to get clean white cables. Also I'll look into that HHD as long as it doesn't ruin the colorway of the build.

You're right, is there any way I can get the build to a cheaper amount while still keeping the Aesthetics clean. Also I already have the RAM (Christmas Gift)

Comment reply on Therich's Completed Build: First time building a PC, happy with result. What are your thoughts?

Since you're psu is non modular, you have to work harder to cable manage(i.e) less versitality in cable length.

I would recommend zip ties to make the cable management a little neater. Really it's about finding that setup, with the cables, to give you the best look!

http://pcpartpicker.com/part/corsair-memory-cmk32gx4m4a2133c15

  1. Corsair has very reliable RAM and it seems that this colorway compliments the black/red theme of your build.

http://pcpartpicker.com/part/kingston-memory-hx424c15fbk432

  1. Kingston seems to always finesse with RAM. Plus the colorway of this particular RAM is even better!

Other then the price difference both options are reliable but, bottom line, it's your decision. :)

Not a fan of AMD processors but I would suggest you get 2 970 4gb in SLI to further improve your build. Honestly it would be more efficient to upgrade your MOBO and your CPU to intel based chipsets (IN MY OPINION). Other then that nice build!
