The North remembers... +1
Great budget build 5/5 +1
O.o Sweet baby Jesus, it's glorious.
i r8 88/8 m8 congrats on featured build! +8 Astonishingly good looking setup, and it's nice to see pictures of planning and measurements for a build for once as well! Just awesome.
What a stunner of a build... o.O Congrats on featured build!
You know what man, never mind, this is a little petty from me, I suppose typically people on here get very excited about their builds and have a more optimistic approach on their hardware. Congrats on Featured Build! It's a beut'!
I understand people having different gripes with different products, perhaps what one persons 4/5 is another persons 3/5, fair. What I don't understand is putting design before functionality and then complaining that it has technical shortcomings that aren't up to your standards.
This isn't a budget build. And there is a way to frame your dislikes of a product without flatly saying it's "really really bad" or calling no additional fans with a (mid-range) case a problem and continuously stating the expense of various parts.
Beautiful build, man. Can tell you put a lot of thought into the aesthetics of this build, very clean. But... You sound positively miserable about this build. To each their own, I suppose, just the complaining about the price and performance of components (K series CPU's being a waste of money, Bronze Rated PSU, Mobo, The ol' tried and true S340.)
Gotta remember people buy different hardware suited to their needs, man. If you build a rig with the primary goal of it looking amazing then fair play , but don't then go and slate the hardware, especially when others may be dissuaded by your review of the parts. This hardware is perfectly competent.
Amazing build! Beautiful work!
Impeccable work. Flawless build. Great job and congrats on featured build!
Looks great, man!
Great work, man! Congrats on featured build, well deserved.
Sweet glorious baby GabeN...
2spuewky4me Greta job, man! Congrats on featured build!
Really amazing build and setup, man! Great personal story behind it as well, makes it even better! Congrats!
Great job, man! Congrats on featured build! I'm sure many here know the desk searching struggle. Praise to our Ikea overlords.
Very creative! 'Grats on featured build!
This build gives me a hardware-on. Tremendous work, man!
Looks amazing! Great build, man. Congrats on featured build!
Good on you, man!
I feel like I just went on a journey going through all the photos. Great job man! Very creative work with that case.
Great job, man!
Impeccable work! Congrats on Featured Build!!
Outstanding job, man! Completely worthy of Featured Build! Congrats!
Very clean! Very minimalist. Love it, congrats on featured build!
Great job, man! +100000 for finding a colour scheme that actually works with Noctua fans! Looks amazing!
Great job! Very resourceful!
Bang tidy! Excellent Job, and congrats on FEATURED BUILD!
Too many SSD's, 3/10 - IGN ;)
Nice job, man! Congrats on Featured Build! I'm curious though, why >F nVidia ?
You certainly crammed it in, man. Great job, and congrats on featured build!
Nice job, man.
Amazing work, man! Really quite an impressive custom, looped, themed build! It has everything! +1000000
Great job, man! This looks terrific! Congrats on Featured Build!
Beastly build, man! Great job! Certainly future proofed! And cable management is actually not that bad pre-tidy-up I've seen far far worse, haha. Happy holidays!
Seems like a shame to put such glorious hardware in a dusty case (a case I like btw) and then do minimal cable management. Just my opinion. Also with keeping that Corsair PSU and upgrading your hardware THEN overclocking you might want to figure out how much power you're actually using in wattage.
Great job, man! So glad to see early on in a description "So I did **** loads of research!" That's the no. 1 thing I recommend to anyone saying they want to build their own PC or what they should go with. Great job!
Very sleek, clean and sexy! Nice work!
It's all in my build description... somewhere, haha, it's a bit long. This Mobo doesn't really handle overclocking well at all, But I have mine overclocked to 4GHz (FX 8350 speeds) with a TX3 Evo cooler and a mix of case fans inside, my temps never go above 50 degrees Celsius. which is good for air cooling on AMD. My GTX 950 heats upto 72-73 degrees in long gaming sessions, which is kinda warm but okay for a GPU. Hope this helped, man. :)
I was very pleased with this as my first build. Do you plan on doing any serious/semi-serious overclocking?
I don't think you have actually screwed in your 950 to the rear I/O... Nor have you put in your motherboards I/O shield... No cable management either, yikes. Hardware should serve you well for a decent budget build but... Tidy it up a little, man, it looks a mess.
Ah, it's fine man! No, I don't do any video editing at the moment, though I imagine a well overclockled, correctly cooled 8320 would handle such a task gracefully. Eight cores at a low price is sort of one of its big selling points.
I don't play either of those games, no. Yet to get any intensive games for PC.
haha, congrats on featured build!
Ah no man, I had case restrictions which is why the H7 was so ideal, I got the TX3 Evo in the end and it does a great job for how compact it is.
As a standard MSI have one of each card, the 970 and the R9 390, buth in the same price range of great value for performance cards. Whereas the cheapest GTX 980 you can buy starts at £370. Both cards have their pros and cons, honestly I think it is great that there is a little competition in the GPU market at the moment.
