You know what man, never mind, this is a little petty from me, I suppose typically people on here get very excited about their builds and have a more optimistic approach on their hardware. Congrats on Featured Build! It's a beut'!

I understand people having different gripes with different products, perhaps what one persons 4/5 is another persons 3/5, fair. What I don't understand is putting design before functionality and then complaining that it has technical shortcomings that aren't up to your standards.

This isn't a budget build. And there is a way to frame your dislikes of a product without flatly saying it's "really really bad" or calling no additional fans with a (mid-range) case a problem and continuously stating the expense of various parts.

Beautiful build, man. Can tell you put a lot of thought into the aesthetics of this build, very clean. But... You sound positively miserable about this build. To each their own, I suppose, just the complaining about the price and performance of components (K series CPU's being a waste of money, Bronze Rated PSU, Mobo, The ol' tried and true S340.)

Gotta remember people buy different hardware suited to their needs, man. If you build a rig with the primary goal of it looking amazing then fair play , but don't then go and slate the hardware, especially when others may be dissuaded by your review of the parts. This hardware is perfectly competent.

Seems like a shame to put such glorious hardware in a dusty case (a case I like btw) and then do minimal cable management. Just my opinion. Also with keeping that Corsair PSU and upgrading your hardware THEN overclocking you might want to figure out how much power you're actually using in wattage.

It's all in my build description... somewhere, haha, it's a bit long. This Mobo doesn't really handle overclocking well at all, But I have mine overclocked to 4GHz (FX 8350 speeds) with a TX3 Evo cooler and a mix of case fans inside, my temps never go above 50 degrees Celsius. which is good for air cooling on AMD. My GTX 950 heats upto 72-73 degrees in long gaming sessions, which is kinda warm but okay for a GPU. Hope this helped, man. :)

I was very pleased with this as my first build. Do you plan on doing any serious/semi-serious overclocking?

I don't think you have actually screwed in your 950 to the rear I/O... Nor have you put in your motherboards I/O shield... No cable management either, yikes. Hardware should serve you well for a decent budget build but... Tidy it up a little, man, it looks a mess.

Ah, it's fine man! No, I don't do any video editing at the moment, though I imagine a well overclockled, correctly cooled 8320 would handle such a task gracefully. Eight cores at a low price is sort of one of its big selling points.

As a standard MSI have one of each card, the 970 and the R9 390, buth in the same price range of great value for performance cards. Whereas the cheapest GTX 980 you can buy starts at £370. Both cards have their pros and cons, honestly I think it is great that there is a little competition in the GPU market at the moment. Here is a JayzTwoCennts video, if you're looking for great tech youtube channels to learn a bit more about tech stuff they are great! https://youtu.be/k9cKZiJw6Pk
