I got it from scan.co.uk, with tax and shipping from there is was $1912
Exactly, Its always good to have over head on the power side as well. Its never smart to run a power supply constantly at near 100 percent load.
\m/ Thanks mate
Just updated, I do take the WORST photos though haha sorry mate.
haha, sorry man im behind.
Well dude, to answer this it will take a minute. So I love ROG, I previously had a Kraken x62 and while It performed well but I sold it and got the Ryujin. The Ryujin performs marginally better, but the Aesthetic design is why I bought it. I actually have many 2 TB Hdds I use for all sorts of things. This case is cramped and at the current moment ,SSDs work perfectly for me, especially the 970 m.2. And yes I don't want to wait an extra 20 seconds for my games to boot. No a 1440p monitor wouldn't be a lot better for me. I have a PG279Q, 1440p 165hz, and the upgrade to my PG27UQ 4k 144hz was MASSIVE, Especially because of HDR. HDR at 1000 nits is a game changer. Your absolutely right about the power supply being overkill for this build, but just a few weeks ago I was running 2 2080ti Strix cards in SLI. So I needed the Extra Juice. Of course nothing is personal, and I appreciate any feedback. Thanks for commenting mate.
Using the live dash, maybe update windows?
thanks a bunch mate! I got it from the UK, had it imported. I may be the first in the US to get it =D
Not really, just don't over indulge on cars and other things.
Ok Sure, I can work on that.
What does that even mean.
Haha, hell yea!
You wont be dissapointed! Best of luck with the build.
Well the psu is 1200W, max I’ve seen it draw was around 750, this was with no overclocks on the graphics cards.
You may be right, thing is the new Asus 4 phase vrm design has increidible transient response because it lacks doublers. This makes it a true 4 phase design that has no problem handling high over clocks. Like I said before I am running 5.1 ghz at 1.3v no problem, and that’s with 32gb of memory at 4133mhz on XMP. It may be overpriced, but I love the aesthetic :)
Yea these cards are no joke! I ran the benchmark in Shadow of the tomb raider and it averaged 132 FPS!
Haha! This is my new personal space heater.
Thank you man, let’s just say I won’t be buying any more pc parts for a while haha.
Haha, in my eyes it may be ;)
Ha, believe it or not I thought the power draw was going to be much much higher. I suppose on water with both cards at 125% power in a game the utilizes SLI it would go much higher.
I keep it at 5.1 all the time at 1.3v using fixed Voltage. The system handles it really well. 5.1 is rock solid and vrm temps are great.
I do appreciate it!
Haha, it costs more than my car as well!
Congrats man, this is a great build.
I will have to check out your build!
It really is epic man, so smooth!
Great looking build!
Wow, I forgot Witcher 3 supports SLI. I may have to reinstall this and test it.
Indeed! Ive seen it pull 750 watts during Far Cry 5.
NIce build, the radeon VII looks epic.
Agreed, It was a lot of money but like you said, this should be future proof for a while!
Sure, let me see what I can do.
Thank you! Yea that may be the next logical step in order to deal with the heat generated by these beasts. On this board there is only 3 slot spacing so it does choke off the top card.
Haha, i work in IT, not rich by any means. Just saved a bit and used some amazon 0 percent financing options for the monitor. Nice not having to worry about interest and can then pay it off over the course 3 or 4 months.
I wanted to be able to drive the PG27UQ at its maximum refresh rate when possible. A lot of triple a games do support sli but unfortunately not all =/
On this chassis there is a slot there for a ssd, I personally like showing it off there haha.
The ASUS 4 phase design is good though, I can hit 5.2ghz on my 9900k with 1.35v, although it isnt fully stable.
I was never a big fan of water cooling, but I suppose thats the next logical step haha.
Cheers man, thank you.
When you finally get your own PC built and operational it will be a great moment!
IT actually runs at xmp no issues. I think the actually cost of the memory was 15 percent less but that was months ago at this point =D
Haha! I wanted to keep it simple, well It performs like a Lion on a double shot of adrenaline. I did some benchmarks at 4k SLI enabled. In shadows of the Tomb Raider I averaged 132fps. Far Cry 5 Was around 110 I believe. The monitor has been an amazing upgrade from a PG279Q. Besides the extra clarity from the 4k panel, HDR has blown my mind! AC Oddessey with HDR is Mindblowing.
