Hi Everyone! Welcome to my MSI build guide!
I am really excited be participating in this event! Not only will it be nice to have a personal desktop... Using a Lenovo ThinkPad ;p
But I will end up giving away some parts if I end up becoming the lucky winner! Lets get started, shall we?
The build name comes from a friend of mine who happens to ve somoan and is always talking about the culture and what not, so I thought "Siva Tau" would fit
The Build -
Intel Core i7 6700K - An easy choice for any gaming system. Although and i5 suits well for most people, fitting an i7 in a 2000 dollar budget isnt too hard ;)
H100i GTX - Standard corsair AIO. Have built several client builds using this cpu cooler and it does the trick. Also it has a nice black weave on the tubing ;p
Msi Z170A Gaming M7 - Now originally I was planning to do an M-ITX build guide, but after speculation with the z170i mobo and with jipster using it already I changed it to ATX Still love you jipster... Dont hurt me ;_;
G.Skill Ripjaws V 16GB 2 X 8 - 16Gb is plenty of ram for gaming and google chrome tabs. When you need 32gbif that day comes then you can easily upgrade with another 16gb kit!
Kingston 240GB Savage SSD - I chose this because I like SSD's. I have a wierd thing with larger storage SSD's... Not to mention it has decent read and write speeds. It is also black and red ;p... Trying to keep a theme here...
Western Digital 1TB Black - Everyday HDD. Chose the black over blue for the color theme, and the small performance gains you might get.
Msi Gaming 6GB 980 Ti - For any gamer, having a beast of a GPU is always mostly... priority over all your pc part choices. The 980 Ti is obviously no joke. At every resolution the card isnjust casually strolling through everything that comes its way. Also you know... Msi build here ;p
InWin 805 Red - Havent seen alot of builds using this case. InWin in generall really, so I chose this case not only for black and red, but for the amazing tempered glass side panels. Really high quality components need to be shown off to family and friends. Why not use a sexy case ;)
Seasonic Platinum 860XP2 - Seasonic makes some of the best PSUs on the market. Keeping with the black and red theme also, has nice blacl cables and a really minimal design.
Thanks for checking out my build guide! If you have any comments for concerns, please let me know! Good luck on the competition PCPers, have a grand day.
