Diablotek is known for unreliable power supplies and there are plenty of stories and videos of diablotek power supplies smoking and causing fires. just put in some more cash and get a seasonic power supply, definitily worth the upgrade (dont want your parts to catch on fire)

It really matters what games you want to do and how well you want to run them.

you can always get slower ram and overclock it (vengence pro or dominator plat are great for overclocking)

265 because you could run dual graphics. Also change out that power supply, its bound to explode

I use the Razer Naga 2014 and I have pretty large hands and its so comfortable. The mouse isn't just useful in MMOS and such, but also in rpgs like switching weapons, macros, etc. Might want to check it out.

Comment reply on Forum Topic "Is this build good for gaming, some video editing?"

  • 1 point

I would highly suggest upgrading that video card to somthing better, prephrely amd if you are on a budget. a 270 would be Ideal of all those games. I would also suggest getting different, faster ram. Go with Corsair, Kingston, or G.Skill, they all make really good ram. Anything within the 1800 mhz is good.

Here's my tips. You don't need 16gb of ram, just get 8gb. If you want to max out everything go with a 780 or 780ti.if your not over clocking then you don't need that CPU cooler. If you want to over clock get the 4770k, k meaning overclockable. I personally don't like evga power supplies, I would reccoment any corsair, seasonic, or cooler master power supply instead. Hope this helps :)

Sick build man! I was looking at that ESPC EX240 Watercooling kit for my build I hope to build end of summer, and I was wondoring about how good it is and how hard is it to install. I saw some videos on youtube about it and it looked pritty easy to install and got really good temps for 150 bucks. Cheers!

How's that PSU? are the cables 100% black, because I have seen some videos where the cables have some color at the end. I don't want bursts of color on my cables, but its a really well priced plat PSU.
