Hit me up on Tarkov and we'll play together. I need more squad mates.
I have questions about the mouse pad.
Okay, building computers is one thing I have knowledge on, but what is going on with your desktop I have no idea about and want to learn a whole lot more about.
Haha, I know the feeling. I've got a pile of parts sitting right behind me for a build and I just yesterday learn of some different fans I really want to put in it now and I spent a good bit last night debating returning the order of fans that I have on the way to my place right now so I can order some Be Quiet! fans.
I still haven't reached a conclusion on what I'm going to do. Honestly the whole fan question has actually been the hardest one on this build and has plagued me from the start.
Okay. You'll have to get back to me on that then :D
True true, though if I remember right, those light bars (the white in particular) are very easily colored to other colors if you want to, so it shouldn't be that hard to change it to green.
I can understand that, I'd have still preferred to orient the PSU with the fan facing out, wouldn't do anything negative to the build and if it does need to run for any reason it would blow it's warm air out of the case instead of right into a side wall which would then vent up and into the SSD/HDD rack.
Gotcha, and yeah in the pictures it just looks like the light bars are just drowned out by the green so I'd assumed it would have been just more economical to have just left them as they were and let the blue be even more drowned out (since they don't without the addon have ports for the light to come through on the top) and just allow the cooler to do all the lighting effect for that area of the build.
He's clearly a leading authority on PC building, right?
And it's not like boredom has ever been a drive for invention and innovation, right? ;)
I have so very very many questions about this build after looking at the photos.
First off do you have the PSU fan facing inwards? Doesn't the Air 540 come with a vent specifically for the PSU on the side of the case?
Why did you spend money on changing out the light bar on the Dominator's when you were planning on covering them up with the cooler?
Ahh, sorry sorry. The last three pictures threw me off as they had the front as the exhaust.
Good thing this doesn't have an exhaust then.
Err wait, I think I spoke to soon. Is the front the exhaust?
No no no, you've got it all wrong.
What it needs is an ammo box NAS to go along with it!
I recommend watching this video https://youtu.be/FjIweExETlI for info on OCing the i7-6700K
Yeah I'm being hit with bits of regret every time I see a Formula build since I got a Hero Alpha for the project I'm working on. The full armor over the whole board and the points for water cooling are very cool things.
So it has enough room for them but the mounting holes aren't setup for them? Now that's a huge pity.
Definately go with an EVGA P2 PSU, they have like the most efficient 1200W supply there is, there 1600W is just as excellent (Check out Tom's Hardware for some charts). If you ever feel like getting rid of one of those Titan XPs I'd happily take one or both as a donation :D
Can the front of the case also hold three 140s? Every time I look at it with three 120s in it it always looks like it has some extra room up top.
This build is just fantastic, I really envy how well you used and paired the different colors involved.
Very well done my man, you deserve a lot of praise for this work.
How is the balance on your build as far as positive or negative air pressure goes?
I'm really confused why I'm not seeing the big PUSH THE LIMITS on the back of your two cards, is that a new back plate?
I really love the color scheme you went with and am a good bit jealous with how well that color came out on the coolant.
Thank you for your input.
Very very true, could use a overhaul badly.
Only think about adding one GTX 1080 more, not two. The 1080 cannot run in 3-way or 4-way SLI, only normal 2-way SLI.
But you can't run for president, you don't respond to private messages.
If you're impressed by 1 TB M.2's then wait a few more weeks for when Samsung's new 960 Pro 2 TB M.2 comes out and you'll be really impressed.
I feel like I need to question the kinking of the cooling hoses on the Hybrid GPU and the fan held in place with twist ties a bit, but other then that it's nice build.
Well now that is definitely odd. G.skill is usually spot on on those.
About those Memory Sticks, did you turn on Intel XMP in the BIOS? If you didn't that would explain why you aren't getting the values as advertised.
No problem, I'm glad I could help. I'm also planning on getting one of the 960 drives though I'm still debating in my head which one.
If you're set on getting a 512 GB PRO from Samsung anyways I'd suggest getting the m.2 960 PRO that is coming out later this month which is much much faster for the same price. Heck even the 960 EVO version is reported as faster then the 950 PRO.
I see what you mean, the LED strip is quite over powering for the few LEDs they have. If only I could get the fans from the ML series with the LEDs of TTs Riing series then the world would be perfect.
Where did you stick the blue and where the white LED fans, and can we get some shots of them with both the lights in your room on and off? (Sorry I only ask because I was looking at them myself just the other day for a build I'm working on.
Is it just me or are the fans for the front intake on backwards in that first pic?
Ahhh, that explains so very much. And as much as I love looking at that I can't even imagine the pain your soul must feel when you have to fill it.
Well just so long as it isn't an actual fire in your second bay I think you're fine.
This is just glorious, how did you get the glow to be so consistent all the way around the loop?
I'd love to see some more photos so I can get a better idea what you did with your build along with your setup on where you put it.
Well alternatively he can be referring to the color of the cash he fed the internet for it.
I think he is referring to all his Razer peripherals.
I can't tell if it's the angles or something but what are those three front fans cooling?
Can we see some interior pictures?
What do you think of that MB and that Ram, I've been looking to that Ram in particular and can't find reviews or opinions anywhere.
