Hey guys thanks for checking out my build! This is my very first time to build a computer and I am quit happy with the result! This build has not been loaded with windows 7 yet (it should arrive soon) but when it is I will add the CPU temps and the 3dMark test scores. Also I'm having blue LED lights for inside of the case. Thanks for reading guys! And please feel free to comment below.
Total cost (before tax) $681
Added more inside photos by request of EcoMCG
Edit, 3d bench Mark score=11184 (graphics 13603, physics 5646, combined 12973)
(Edit) added SSD, H80i CPU cooler, and R.A.T. 7 mouse.
Nice build! But one question why such a large screen??
Took the words right out of my mouth!!
The build looks great (flip the PSU though) and when you are ready to up grade the first thing I would do is to get more RAM (at LEAST 8TH for gaming) and then get an SSD to run put your games on!! +1
Looks like a nice build!! And for the LED's check ebay they have some really nice and cheap ones.
Ahh same here I got windows 7 64 bit on sale from ebay... but it will probably not be in for a few more days :(:(:(
I would work on the cable management on your desk... the rest looks great!
Wow nice clean build!! But y'all totally get that graphics card in there and this will be a beast!
Looks like a solid build... the only thing I would change would be to get a bigger SSD drive!!
The case is really good looking ;) but if you want people to be able to see inside I would add some LED lights on the inside of the case (the plastic window is tinted so its hard to see in with low light)
Ya idk... I'm thinking that I'm not going to get an SSD for now at least but I will check out the mx100!
None so far.... Haven't been able to use it much yet but on just what I've done with it so far and one looks I would give it at least a 9.5/10 the one thing that I don't like is the buttons on the bottom (they can be hard to press sometimes) but for this price i don't think you could ask for a better monitor! BTW I was able to get it on sale from BestBuy for just $129!!
Sure i will upload some more pics soon! And I really do love the keyboard so far!! The best part is the back lights ;)
Ahh it is a 212 very nice!!
The cables were pretty jumbled but he did do very well with what he had so I'm giving him a +1
Sorry sorry I meant manual..... happy now????
Yes you should move it over unless your Manuel says to set it up that way ;)
Ah well then great second build!
Looks likes a solid first build so far! But if you plan on doing very long or extreme i would go ahead and buy an aftermarket cooler. +1
Looks like a nice build.. I would consider buying an after market CPU cooler though.... And also how did you get your RAM for 11.47!?!?!? +1
Looks like a good solid build! Great for your first time too.. But just one thing i see what looks like an after market CPU cooler in the case but I don't see it on your list of parts....... But still +1
Lol same things here... I guess we are supposed to read first Lol
Yes right you do need those to play games... ;)
Wow the backlit keyboard looks really sharp!
Wow great build on so the best that I have seen on pcpartpicker for sure!! +1
Wow you just read all my thoughts on this build! And I totally agree with getting the fx-6300 and 750ti
Personally I think you should get a little more powerful CPU (maybe a AMD fx-6300) and for upgrades I would go with a liquid cooler like you said :) and BTW do you like your graphics card?? +1
Well looks like a great build and all but WHY NO AFTERMARKET COOLER?!? Ahh okay I feel better now. But really you should get one if only for the noise reduction.
Would you post some pics of your destination setup with everything out?? And great build!!
Hopefully only web browsing.....
Looks like a solid build with some exelent prices!! +1
Do you like it??
Ahh well then props to you for picking such a good one!!
Okay either you are a cable management wiz or the case has some awesome cord management!
Nice build should be good for some time! BTW what monitor are you using??
Same thoughts here
Dude you just dropped 10K on a pc and now are talking about expenses?
So you have 10K desktop a expensive gaming laptop a MacBook and a iMac?? Who are you and what have you done with Bill Gates?
Um 21% tax!?!?? Where? And is that only for people that drop 10 grand on a pc?? Lol
Lol same here :)
Well props to you man looks like you did good!
Hummmm drops almost 2 grand on a nice pc build and gets The WORST key board on earth......... To each his own i suppose. Of the other hand some really needs to nominate you for the cable management award! BTW love you GPU.
That is what I call really budget building your computer ;)
Yes why would you want a networking card when you can just use your built in LAN??
Way to be brutally honest genarus! And about the ram personally I would go ahead and buy another stick just to have 16GB and have it running dual channel (even it will not be used to full potential).
Because we all use those wrist bands....... Right?
Same thoughts here.....
