I'm using the top PCI slot and there is still a small amount of clearance. If you want to ever remove the GPU though you have to use a ruler or something to push in the pin because your finger will not fit lol.
Thank you! Everything fits great together, I had no issues with fitment and nothing is touching at all. I am surprised how good the temps are in such a small case as well.
It doesn't but it sure is close! lol
My first time I was very nervous lol it took me about 3 hours on my I7 4790k. This is the third chip I delidded so it wasn't so bad this time around. It's not so bad, just take you time and watch a lot of videos before you attempt it yourself. I recommend "Gamers Nexus" guide on Youtube, it's one of the best videos out there on delidding. I also have a Youtube video if you are interested but it's more of a vlog than a tutorial lol.
I think it's the way the picture is took. I can't tell if it is in real life lmao. It probably is though lol the monitor stand is pretty heavy and there is a ps4 beside it as well. Pretty cheap desk lol. Nice attention to detal and thanks man!
Highest I've seen is around 76c, average is around 73c. I'm using the preset quiet fan curve in EVGA Precision XOC
I plan on ordering some white ones here soon!
There is a tiny gap between the two, they don't touch but are very close. Also, thank you!
Jesus, most 16 GB kits of 3000Mhz here in the US is around $160. I found mine on reddit/r/buildapcsales and got lucky to grab them before they went out of stock!
It's ugly but I pulled the PSU from my old build, it's semi modular so the 24 pin and cpu connector is the only cables not changeable and they are ketchup and mustard cables lol.
The cables are Black up until the connector which I don't understand, reused the PSU from my old PC so hoping to get a new one soon. Also good eye on the ram, I originally intended to use the pair from my parts list but found an amazing deal on this kit that I couldn't pass up on. I ended up paying $130 for a 16GB kit 3000Mhz. Will change up the ram in the part list though. Thank you for the feedback!
Good eye, I didn't even notice that in the pic, but yes I had to reseat the ram later in the build anyways due to the cooler. Thank you!
Nice build, plan on building my next pc in this case, gonna be a minimalistic build as well.
