i ended up buying a core i7 3770 so all is good
Yeah, but then again if you can get like say an 8350 for 70 dollars thats great price to performance.
Is it worth it to just upgrade to an 8320e from 6300 to get rid of rx 480 bottlenecking cheaply as possible?
Yes chassis pictures.
Haha alright mate well I think im going to buy a gigabyte 990fx R2.0 and an fx 9590 because the 9590 is now only 140 dollars and an 8 core at that price is a steal.
another thing Im going to do is put the stock heatsink fan on the vrms to reduce temps greatly.
Ill probably shoot for 4.6 just because of the extra 2 cores creating more heat then.
Well heres the thing. Wouldn't it just be more efficient to run at 4.6 consistentally then without throttling? I have noticed a little better performance at 4.0 rather than 4.3 because of the throttling. It even at 4.0 it throttles down to 3.0 sometimes on some cores. So I feel like it might not be that smart to go 5.0 on this board.
To be honest mate I would try and 2 fans on the other side of that radiator in the front because 2 fans on the front only just looks like they would struggle to get air through a radiator that thick. Im sure they get air through it but not very well is what im trying to say.
Well without heatsinks I got my fx 6300 to 4.0 at 1.2 volts all im shooting for is 4.5 to 4.7 might just buy a 970 motherboard because i really do not need that much more than a 6300. Also dont have the funds for new cpu and new motherboard.
Where did you get the heatsinks mate? And how well do they work? Have the same board and I want to get my 6300 to 4.5 without throttling down to 3.0 consistentally
Link to your wallpaper mate?
Electrical tape off the ends on that sata cable you cut. If the black and red touch it will fry your psu instantly.
What is the point of all of those top fans? It just looks like its exhausting air but with that case im not sure.
Thanks mate :)
Haha yea thanks. Im upgrading to an rx 470 soon. I struggled to push past 1100 mhz on this card.
No I did not have to update the bios it worked straight out of the box.
Neither because this is a SOLID build. Everyone starts somewhere all he has to do is pop in an fx 8320 and hes set for 2017.
How does that rx 480 perform even though its only the 4gb? How much vram usage are you getting in games.
It looks nice man! Glad you went with the 6700k so upgrading your GPU later isn't a problem
You have more fans then I have money.
Lol this is great I had the same case motherboard cpu,Gpu and my gpu and psu exploded
Im 14 too. You could have done much better with the budget you had.
Oh lol Sorry apparently im ignorant. Might consider buying that tbh.
When a cheap "media" pc lowkey have a faster gpu then your "gaming" rig
Here is where that confuses me. Spray paint would create a layer in between the actual fins of the radiator and the air going over it. In that case its an insulator?
Nice clean build. How does the paint effect radiator performance? +52 from me.
My fx 6300 holds back my r9 270 Not sure how your not running into bottlenecking at 4.0 because thats what I run at.
There is this really cool thing called cable management id try it out if I was you :).
Not necessarily intel has been sitting on there *** for like 3 years now.
its Retarted how beautiful your color scheme is. +67
This setup is sexual on so many levels. +85
Parents of the year award goes to...
Its time to put your pc in the desk mate
I would upgrade to an 8320 for an easy 20-30 percent gain in performance.
Quite ironic you don't use Cortana on windows 10 ( ͡° ͜ʖ ͡°)
Yea once I got in game they were just awful for me i kept triggering movements just by resting my hands on the keys and I just got really annoyed.
I hope you got a new motherboard for that i7 because its lga 1155 not lga 1150.
Give us some interior pics mate! :p
What is Abit? Ive never heard of it.
The only problem with that cpu is the motherboard doesn't have vrm cooling so it might thermal throttle :/
Yea haha I did hit around 4.5 with the stock cooler.
I would try to hit around 4.5-4.6 You can do this easily on something like an arctic freezer 7 for around 20 dollars. The g3258 From my experience only did good around that range with an r9 270.
its sketchy that you spray painted the heat sinks because the spray paint acts as an insulator making the heat sinks hotter.
I swear to god you've uploaded this like 5 times
Ohhhh then I would invest in a headset then.
That psu is sketchier then my neighborhood.
This is a nice beginner setup. The next thing I would look to purchase would be a monitor. Then I would buy some speakers and work from there.
Mate your setup is sexual +52 from me.
They just have no tactility and in game just resting your fingers on the keys triggers them. (I have heavy hands) Im not fat im 6'5 so I think youll understand.
