Nice build, although I almost didn't leave a like due to the distasteful and - rather comically ironic - introduction. "You have become the very thing you swore to destroy". I like your build but this comes off pretentious and elitist. Although I share your design preferences it does not make you any better than anyone else.
Dude.. Where did you get the Ryujin?? Ive been searching ever since CES...
10k Build in the new Evolv X and one picture :'( MOAR
Agreed, right above the cpu cooler/toward the back would be ideal for your airflow. Any warm air spilling through the fins at the top of the coolor will get sucked right out. Great nonetheless.
Also a cool build. I have noticed that Haswell seems to be the sweet spot for flips because they aren't too outdated. All the fourth gen i5s and i7s still perform admirably in today's standards, Ivy bridge too even.
I do the same thing in my area with Kijiji. Made a fair profit on every single one, sometimes doubling or more depending on the deals found. I like it!
I understand now. Amazing!!
Would love a shot of the PSU
What do you do for a living!?
If you see EVGA in any way when you look at the video card in the pictures - then my friend I am sorry to tell you but something is very wrong.
Where do you get those "peg-y things" that lift the desk above the drawers? Also +1
Yeah its around 50%, not 70%.
1.4135v is the sweet spot for my Mortar & Pestle. Runs a tad toasty though.
How did you get the red trim off the Trident Z ram for painting? I want to paint the trim itself, not the spreaders.
How did you manage to get the gpu in vertical orientation? I have the same case... Asking for.. A friend.
Interesting how the I/O for the motherboard is set in the case.
I believe its so quad channel memory could fit on an itx. By using laptop ram.
Weak because of size? Without looking too deeply into the board I imagine all that is missing is Quad channel ram, extra pcie slots and maybe some lanes?
What is this case??
Where can you buy the DAN case? Plzz
Its not all about the latest and greatest hardware.
Good upgrade path at least
Fury's are great
I had to double take to make sure I was seeing correctly. +1 for snow ,+1 for holidays, +1 for guts if i could!
I have a 6850k on an Msi X99a Gaming Pro Carbon and it didnt require a bios update either. Thankfully..
x299 is a better platform for professional applications with a much better upgrade path as LGA1151 chipsets are probably done really soon and x299 is freshly launched chipset and utilizes more pcie lanes etc..
X299 has its advantages in CAD applications though so i think it was the best choice.
You're right. I can see 8 DIMM slots so it cant be a 6700k.
4.7 ghz is insanely high for that cpu. Impressed.
*Smiles in 144fps feature
Surprisingly the 8600k beats the 7700k in both sc and mc.
Skebede pat cah
His rendering is typically GPU based not CPU. 3ds max is gpu, other architectural programs such as REVIT use cpu for rendering.
For me - hands down the best looking full aio arrangement I have seen.
I think a 1080 without a doubt falls into the category of a "beefy graphics card" lol. Considering you know it is the 4th best in the world at the consumer level. The ti is roughly 20% better, not worth it to replace your 1080 for the cost and hassle. IMO
What a bang for the buck that is. 970+6300 not bad at all.
Agreed. I myself have 512gb 950 pro. I benchmarked it against my secondary ssd, an 850 pro and it literally did 6 times the speed in both read and write. 6 times!
Ohh. Sorry for my noobness. So it is simply an HDMI that your gpu recognizes as a second monitor and from there you run hardware monitor or something? Ive been wanting something like this for awhile.
To add to this I would like to ask what program you're running on the pi to monitor it.
What makes this extra special is the transformation.
Things like this deserve recognition.
It has a TDP of 85 the 212 will be more than sufficient.
