It records at 1080i,not P, so be wary of that
I don't believe capture cards work with pcs, but I may he wrong...
All of the power cables that the psu can support will come with the psu, so power cables would be useless, and your mobo should come with a few Sata cables. You should be fine
Much better than nvidia cards
It really depends on what game you are playing, I believe the 290x has much better sli scaling though.
I believe xeons are server processors... Anyways the 4790k is great, go for that, especially for gaming but see if you have a microcenter store near you, as they have cheap motherboard cpu combos, including the 4790k. You can save a lot there.
just want an upgrade for good headphones
That mouse may not work out for you, it is pretty cheap, and if you plan on gaming on three monitors on decent settings you will need probably two 970s.
If you plan on gaming with all three monitors you need more/better cards, if not then that should work
Looks pretty good
How do sli 970 compare to 980?
Why would you buy Windows ultimate
I'd be interested in the case, but not the rest
Great idea, i'll buy your build which is the more expensive, one year old, used build rather than buying the cheapest prices
One year is alot pc wise
Thanks for the advice. I have decided instead to go for a 144hz monitor, the 270$ asus one.
Test each individual piece of the chain, the cable, the monitor, and the pc, using other things you have around the house such as another pc, a TV, and another cable
not sure then
Try the coolermaster storm quickfire rapid, I have it and love it, it comes with and without a number pad, and I like the cherry mx red switches although it comes in other types.
You need a new cable probably
I know, it just seems weird how people try to use something for a purpose that It isn't intended for and then bash the product
By price is 200, I assume you mean that is your budget. If the 970 costs 200, buy it right now, no questions. Otherwise, my 770 does it but is still pretty expensive, maybe a 750ti would fit your budget
Probably a good idea
Nobody will pay 1600, sorry to say. You would be lucky to get 1400-1500.
Those deals tho
Yes you can
Use the hdmi cable and attach it to your TV. Then put download the driver.
I was just joking, for video editing, go for the cpu and cut back on the gpu. Video editing uses the cpu and ram. So get more ram (speed of ram isn't important, just quantity, I'd recommend at least 16 gigs for your purposes) and go for the i7
No, that isn't how it works. The cpu overclock itself when needed.
Right now on Newegg 500 gig 840 evo is 180$,unbeatable deal
Use a bunch of SD cards in raid 9
You missed out, if you raided two wd caviar green drives it'd top 1500/1500
You can't spend that little for a reliable one. Spend at least 300 and you will get a good one.
I don't think 650 would be enough. When a cpu overclock itself it uses triple the power, I'd recommend at least 1200 watts
He is wrong, it actually is the psu. Definitely worth it
That isn't enough. Because over clocking nearly triples the tdp of the build, when the cpu overclock itself under load it will need at least 1000 watts. I'd recommend a 1200 Watt psu.
No, 660 is too much by far. Go for a 430.
The reference design has the best performance.
Try a gtx 980, they are on sale on Newegg for 100$ right now
It's decent, but I'd recommend a 550, I've had great experiences with them, and can max bf4 with 80+ fps
Try the corsair 300r
I've used that cooler before, and I would definitely say that it would fit on that mobo.
This is because AMD had a technology breakthrough, and they found a way to produce better chips for less money. intel hasn't discovered this yet, and needs to charge more for the same performance.
It might not work that we'll, I'd splurge a bit and go for an i3 or possibly a pentium if you have the money
It's only one per household if I am correct, a bit of a shame
Got a new 250gb toshiba drive, faster and larger, working great. This reply is also really late, sorry
Got bf4, stable 100 fps on max settings, performs amazingly, this is really late but i havent checked pcpartpicker
Thx, I agree
With that buy an extra monitor :P
