Thanks! I finally got the theater seats added
I made some changes. Check out my updated room
Thanks, I finally finished my vision for the room (for now). Check out my updated pics
Updated the seating, you can bring some friends now too! lol
Thanks! Check out my updated room
Thanks! check out my latest updates to the room
I can't disagree with that.
I went looking for your build as a reference.
Great monitor, love it!
72Mbps down / 6Mbps up
Yep, every one has a purpose. I detailed them in the description. :-)
You are reading my mind. I have added 1 UPS on my workstation since posting. And have 2 more ordered. I have spoken with my electrician about the home generator and it will certainly be a future investment. I just need to save a few more nickels first. lol
Well, keeping current only interest me if the technology convinces me thats it offers something of value. Ex. I couldn't do 4k60 on most AAA titles with 980ti sli, so when the 1080s came out it was an attractive upgrade (I actually waited until CES2017 was over to make sure they didn't announce a 1080ti). What I look forward to in the future is improvements in VR or AR. I love my VIVE but its definitely a first gen product (screen door effect, lower resolution, wired tracking, lacking in game selection) but I can see the potential. Thanks for looking!
lol. No worries. Now you have an excuse to do another playthough
It was really slow. The best I could get was 6Mbps through ATT. I fought with and proceeded to stalk Charter until they agreed to service my area. Now I get 72Mbps with the option of 120Mbps. So not super fast but plenty for what I do.
Thanks! The chimney was like that when we bought it. Although its an old house it's new to us. Almost been here 2 months now. But man do I wish I had the talent to build that!
GLaDOS, Chell, and Wheatley are the names of the computers. They are characters from the "Portal" games by valve. I highly recommend playing them.
Who is you all?
But on a side note that MSI vortex is a sexy machine.
Company I work for rents my trashcan for $10 a day for the past 3 years. They've given me about $10,950 to bring it on jobs with me. I own it, I am the only one who uses it and they pay me rent for it. I bet you would do the same, right?
Honestly, love them all. I played Mel when it first came out and it was hard. I saw that they updated it later to be easier.
Sure bud, Louisiana
Actually, Yes! I have a Wii U but I have not moved it from my RV yet. I'll get it in there this weekend, and post an update pic.
Thanks! She approves of room, knows not of price. lol
Unforntunately it is a concern: http://www.nola.com/weather/index.ssf/2017/02/new_orleans_tornadoes_louisian.html
Very Nice! I need to find some Portal stuff to go with my builds. Looks Great!
I manage small offices for inspection companies. I actually don't make that much money. I worked 2-3 jobs in college, when I graduated, I had a small amount of school debt and my truck. I bought an RV and lived in it while working in various states. I paid off the truck and RV and started saving as much as I could. I don't go out, smoke or drink. I just manage money well.
Thanks! The wife and I have been very busy with house renovations, but I hope today we will enjoy some Titanfall at the dual setup.
Thank you! I might would consider a projector setup, but for now, I'm in love with the OLED.
Thanks! The truck is actually a 2011 GMC Sierra.
Very nice! Love the wire management. I recently bought the PG348Q and love it! That Titan X makes me drool. What games are you playing on that powerhouse.
Thanks! It is an awesome TV, best I've owned. I was nervous about webOS, I had read a few bad reviews on it, but I love it. I stream a lot of stuff a hdd on my router and webOS does a great job at remembering my spot, handling subtitles, everything! I love it!
$$$ - gameroom = $0.00 :-)
I have hopes of adding on a bathroom one day, but then I would just stay in there all the time and my wife may divorce me. lol. I'm not saying that during some heavy gaming late at night that I've stepped outside to pee, but I can't deny it either. lol
I like the feel of the Orbweaver best. It has mechanical keys. I got the Tartarus because I saw it on clearance at Walmart and I wanted something to match with my dual setup. It is not mechanical so thats a con, but I do like 3 rows of keys instead of 4 like the Orbweaver for simple gaming. If you are more about the MMORPGs then that 4th row would be important. As for comparing to the logitech or any other brand I can't help (I haven't researched it). The Orbweaver was a gift from my wife because when I work out of state we live in an RV and I have to game from a recliner. A full sized keyboard didn't work well, and I was trying to play Black Mesa and Half-Life 2. The gamepad made it much nicer to play. Glad you like you room! Thanks!
I sure hope so! I didn't realize the extent of my spending until I started putting the list together. I think I'll cut back for a few years. lol
Thanks man! The house was originally built in 1974. It has been heavily renovated many times from what I've been told. The plumbing and electrical was a nightmare. lol. The studio, I was told, was added on in 2005. My truck is a 2011 GMC sierra 4x4, 6" suspension with 1.25" body. I love my truck, never gives me any trouble.
Thank you! Sure thing! We are in Louisiana.
I was limo driver until the girl of my dreams flew to Aspen and out of my life. She left her briefcase in the airport so my friend and I decided to return it to her. We started our journey across the country to bring Miss Samsonite her briefcase. I knew that when we found her she would invite us in for tea and strumpets! Long story short there was a lot of money in the briefcase, we spent most of it but returned the briefcase with "IOUs". She was married and we had to walk back home.
Thanks, I could fit a pool table but I would lose space for the VIVE. VR pool it is! lol
I agree with you. It would be much more accurate and easy to showcase if they had an option to show a room with its contents. I had to improvise, I want the focus to be on the room as a whole.
Thanks for the kind words, friend!
May the PC gods bless you in the silicon lottery, your temps be low and overclocking high!
Thanks! Trying to live life to the fullest "Carpe Diem"!
