4seating.com. I called them and they were great to deal with.
This is now my favorite build. Amazing!
I worked out of state, living in a small RV for a few years and I wanted something I could escape to.
I didn't buy it all at once. I built and upgraded the computers over time. When you're living in an RV working over 60hrs a week every week for years you have little bills and little time to spend money on parting and such.
The best thing for me is at night, when my 10 month old is asleep in the house, my wife and I can watch movies, or play games without having to worry about waking the baby.
*I have been making some small changes lately and maybe around Spring I will be upgrading all PCs and I will update this build with all the changes.
Ask away and i'll try and answer.
Another great build! Now update those pictures with the copper heat spreader!
So we agree, I have my priorities in order!
Hey! Sitting in the second row is actually where most would prefer. The room is relatively small and the seats are very close to the TV. The way the picture is taken makes the TV look much smaller and further than it really is. The first row is about 4ft away from the TV (I prefer to sit close, especially when gaming) and the second row is about 8ft. It doesn't look small, but a little bigger would've been better. (I couldn't fit bigger with the oled tv since they go from 65" to 85" and the windows are there. Not to mention the 85" was $20K at the time!) GlaDOS is the pc hooked to the TV. It is my most powerful pc and provides the best 4k experience. I use the LG K830 as the wireless keyboard with trackpad and play only games that have controller support on the TV.
Man you are upset. I really thought pcpp was about sharing builds and setups. Yeah there are some additions that may not be beneficial to any (like the ipad) but other than sharing, it helped me see a list of what was in there and how much i've spent. The bag is actually a desktop mac bag made by what was then a small company that gave me a great product and customer service and I'm glad I listed it. My builds engaged others in fun conversations, some debates, and an all around socializing of electronic related subjects. It's been fun
As many as I can get. :-) If I supply the PCs, then I would say about 6. But some of my friends bring their own.
It looks smaller than it is with the way the picture is shot but the seats are so close that it still makes for a nice experience. I wanted the quality the oled had to offer. I really think any bigger would make the first row too close. But idk maybe in the future I'll test out a projector there.
Bigger wouldn't fit right there. And at the time the next size up in OLED was and 85" and was $20,000. So, yeah, I couldn't afford that
Like this of course: ME
Wow! Thats not me, but that is cool!
I hope I'm not "mid life" yet. LOL
I guess the psu stores enough power for them to light up when the unit is moved. Normally when plugged in they only light up for about 2 seconds when the unit is moved slightly. Otherwise they are off. To get the pic I moved he unit and moved my hand out of the picture really fast. lol. It took like 4 tries to get the picture.
Thanks! The building was already there. It was originally used as a recording studio and then a guest room. As soon as I saw it I had the vision of what it should be. ;-)
Thats the most i've read this year! Looks good as always. Meet me at StoneHouseStudio this weekend, we'll order pizza, play games, install dehumidifier, scrub the walls, replace the carpet and have a good time!
Very good, although I can't give you numbers right now (working out of state), I can tell you that I had a corsair 110i before and was not happy with the performance.
Runs it fine. Unless you win, the graphics cause a massive frame drop. lol
Sure you do! A little bit of study and some focus. The knowledgable people at pcpp can help too.
Ran out of money. :-( . lol. I may see about adding one later.
What are you talking about? Every part that could be linked to pcpp was done so (this way it would show the current price, not even the price I paid at release). The parts that I could not add through pcpp, for whatever reason, was put under custom at the price I paid. If the pcpp prices are off by $100 I suggest you ask the mods to look into it.
Which card in which build would you like to know about?
You and I think alike. Thanks!
I checked and they are no markings on the wrist rest, but it should be easy to located at Office Depot
Thanks! I plan to add more statues in the future so maybe I will earn that extra piont eventually. Lol
Thanks! I don't know anything about the wrist rest other than I bought it at office depot and its very comfortable. I will check it at work tomorrow and see if it has a brand on the bottom.
Thats ok, I was never really interested in "Most expensive build" I just wanted to share the room.
Amazing! You take "building" a computer literally. I love it!
Very clean! I may consider this case for a future build. Thanks for sharing.
Fantastic! Thanks for sharing!
Thanks! Probably more like 1-2 years. lol
Thanks for your suggestion. What do you have/recommend?
I love the Talos Principle. Awesome game
They are the Seatcraft Venetian. I got them from 4seating.com. They are awesome!
You might be right #Has8chairshas2friends
All I can do is stare through my security cameras and cry.
I just spent $3000 on a new AC unit. Does that count? lol
Unfortunately I will be working out of town for the rest of the year. 800 miles away right now.
I bought it from Ashley's Furniture. I can't find it on their website with insert but here's a link to what I have. http://www.flatfair.com/ashley-rogness-dark-brown-lg-tv-stand-with-wide-fireplace-insert.html?src=PLA&brand_id=120&ae_id=108&gclid=CML6hseEs9MCFVu2wAod60MO2Q
I used to work retail and was not a very good salesman. :-/
No worries. We just call it the "Studio". :-)
Great job bud. Thats one hell of a home theater setup. I will definitely be getting one of those couchmasters!
Its not a shed. It in no why qualifies as a shed. It was a building originally built as a music studio. It has a foundation, four insulated walls, a roof, electricity. How is it a shed?
Whaaaaattttt?! lol. I had to buy that for work, then, on the next job I needed a printer capable of 11x17. Had to buy the next size up. However, I worked a job where they supplied the exact same printer and provided all the ink. By the end they had about $250 worth of ink left over and they let me have it!
I manage offices for inspection companies. It's a great job but the drawback is I am gone most of the time. For example: I am currently in a remote area of west Texas, living in a RV with my pregnant wife and will be here until October. I don't plan on doing this much longer. Now that I have a home I don't want to be gone 90% of the time, but, for now, sacrifices must be made.
He is large and strong? Could I use him as a Stone House Studio guard? Cameras are ok, but scary muscle would be better. lol
