Well said and thank you. I'm ok. I got to meet them last night. We ended up telling each other funny stories about good times with mr. Cecil and laughing. It was good to see them both smile.

That table had a mix of crap being sorted and sold on ebay. Those damn dolls gave me the creeps. I walked into the room one night with the lights off and had a Chucky fright moment with all those doll faces glaring in the darkness. The whole Ebay selling thing didn't last long. Thank God the unsold crap got tossed.

Buying a chip removal tool to reseat all on the board. I'm hoping it's a poor connection at one. If not I have to be more serious about diagnosis. Also still need to check the voltage output of the PSU.

If I can't get it working consistently that's a great option. I hope I've got a bad connection or one bad chip on the board. Kills me to see it post one time after yanking all three boards, then swapping drive board. After putting the drive board back in the Apple IIe this IIplus has quit working :(

Yeah if I can't figure it out, it looks like an easy fit for a mini itx setup. Not overkill but still a neat sleeper.

Had a temporary moment of hope by removing all three boards and stealing from the Apple IIe. Got the drive to light up and get the beep too. Took the drive board out to see the "Apple II" screen. Unfortunately after putting all back I had no video output. I hope I didn't damage the main board. Still gotta take it apart, clean and inspect this weekend.

Thanks, El.

Sadly no, not yet. I messed with it at lunch today and it still gives me a beep but no longer shows an "Apple II" logo with the drive board removed. I removed all the daughter boards and it still only beeps at at power on. I'm a little afraid to steal the Apple IIe boards to try on it again. I don't want the Apple IIe to fail.

It was neat to see it kind of work for a bit yesterday. Today I looked and noticed what looks like a swollen solder point on one side. I'll look at it more after tearing it down this weekend. It needs a good cleaning anyway.
