Or, Yes Noobs! I know how to write run-on sentences! Jk, jk, I just finished my first build as well and it is quite exciting. Hopefully I can post my build after I have formed enough of an opinion to write on it :)
Very nice build! Remarkably similar to the parts/color scheme I will be using as well. Let me know how that 390 and 6600k does for you! All I have left to order is the motherboard, so I am getting pretty excited to see what these parts will do for me! +1
Not that it matters, but did you but from newegg?
This is disheartening....I'm right back where I was in my dilema ;/
I have...unfortunately the only reason I am not considering it is my because of my color scheme :P
Thanks! That is comforting! Out of curiosity, have you ever had to deal with an RMA process for Asus? I would rather not wait a month for a new motherboard in the off chance that I get a DOA or need to RMA for any reason.
Thanks for all the help guys! This case literally just got listed as a shell shocker on Newegg! I'm gonna pick it up right now as that was the only thing holding me back :)
Well I was watching a video and I saw him take off this little bracket after removing the cage cover. It is shown at 13:45 in this video being removed https://youtu.be/guBAl6g8BlY.
Just in case you can't watch right now, it's just a bracket sitting right below the drive cages.
Thanks for the help so far, and I hate to keep asking such nooby questions, but....so is the mount at the bottom just for the bottom cage? I was under the impression that it also help the long cage cover in place...
But will I be able to fit a fan on the bottom front? Like will I be able to remove the bracket, place the fan in its place, and keep the bay cover?
Almost forgot! If a bottom fan is not possible, would having 2 fans in front as intake and 3 fans at the rear (2 top, 1 back) as exhaust be a bad thing?
Wow, thanks for the great reply! Im so looking forward to building my PC and being involved with the PC community!
Hey, where can I get that desk! And how much! It looks really nice!
You are correct
Yea, funny, I was looking at many builds, and the very next build I looked at mentioned cable combs, haha. The only thing that is deterring me is it seems many are saying that they are brittle.
I really like those red "things" that hold your 24 pin cables in place. Is there a way I can get something like that without the cables themselves? I don't really know what to search in Google to find it :P
Well, since the case will be kept cool, they won't need to run at to high of an RPM....and they are pretty quiet from what I've seen on YouTube. Maybe you are right though - I can keep them as backups if needed
You think I'll be good with ENB/mods on Skyrim?
Yea, as I stated, I am just trying to plan ahead for when I upgrade/add a GPU. And, yea, for the fans, I am gonna have 2 AF 120s on the bottom and 2 on the front. Then I am using 4 SP 120s for push/pull on the radiator. Lastly, an AF 140 for rear exhaust.
I think I got it...just had to try and remember what I wrote!
