Great design and the hard work pays off. Im looking to do the same in my 570X i was just wondering, would you do a dual loop if you did it again? So the 240 up top for the cpu and 360 for the gpu? Of would you keep it the same?

Appreciate it, just always be careful when citeing things and really listen. Its human nature to just find things you want to hear that support your argument and not look past details. But going online I had a hard time finding non-oc tests with the h100i v2 but found out that it has adequate cooling with room for the chip to boost itself. Maybe ill look into a custom loop later, just alot yo thing about!

This is how debates should be btw so I appreciate the talk too. Like civilized individuals.

I don't want it anywhere close to 70 let alone 90, just because t junction is at 90 doesn't mean it should be there.

Did you listen to the clocks? He overclocked quite a bit, from 3.3 to 4.7, granted yes out of the box it goes up to 4.3; however, I don't see your point as valid when not considering the adjustment for clock speed. Granted he didn't even go over stock speed temps.

AMD has an amazing lineup and I still use it and keep it as an option in builds, I can not deny that. However for cooling... https://youtu.be/gIqq-sCWGG8

The NZXT Kraken X62, (essentially the same cooling capability as my h100i v2) a watercooler, gets beat out by a Nauctua air cooler due to the specially made TR4 socket. Props to Nauctua, and like I said, I'm just not willing to change the cooling solution.

Two things, I already mentioned the aversion to AMD with the current cooling solution I have.

Also your bias to AMD in your profile.

Starting from the top working down. Already have a car, not willing to be "that kid" that buys a new car and crashes it.

For the questions, well it all started with the desk, my family recently moved and I had to downsize, with this I really took mesurments and focused on creating my dream room and put a hellish amount of work in. The desk I have is almost built for 4 monitors, 3 on bottom curved on top. Do I need it, not at all, but damn do I work for it, and truthfully I need none of it.

The screen point you brought up is something I already know I messed up on, I already have the 2 Asus 1080p 144hz displays so I figured I would buy the others now and sell them all to upgrade later. Backwards mindset I know. With the leftover that I should have I will be allocating it to saving for a big monitor upgrade.

With the 1080ti's my worry was power. Black Friday deals netted me a nice 860i and dual 1080ti's would bring it a bit close to comfort.

Custom loop, I'm scared. Like I want to, but I don't, but I really do. Don't have the balls to do it yet.

Also forgot to mention this like mrmist's comment above, I intend to help out a old friend with the old parts. I don't intend on tossing them or keeping them under my bed so that was my bad for forgetting.

Trust me I was thinking about just a normal upgrade like that, but with just going single slot 1080ti, I specifically chose 4 144 Hz monitors. The 1080ti has 3 dp outputs, and I know new HDMI is coming out; however, I'm looking at what I we have now. Dual 1070ti would have collective 4 dp ports and 4 more HDMI to spare. That's the back end of the pcie lane reasoning. Also either way I will have spare cash saving up for a good friend of mine, when I started I knew I wasn't gonna be able to shread 5000 on a pc upgrade so should have mentioned that above.

Clean sleek and you know what makes me really happy, the fans, look at all thoes fans, if you are not spending at least 10% of your budget on fans then you aren't doing it right. But like you I am the kind of guy to fill up every slot. And if I had the Corsair Slate with like the 46 fan mounts, you bet your *** I would spend that much money on fans.

+1 I'm a... wait for it... "fan" of it

Killing myself bye
