Thanks and yeh haven’t noticed any of that and I’ve been testing on the 1080 monitor so far and every game on everything maxed out and it doesn’t drop below a 100fps, Fortnite doesn’t drop below 200fps, Far Cry5 would drop in frames but no micro stutter or screen tearing, yet.

If you read what I wrote, you wouldn’t be saying that. Not everyone want nor needs a 2080.

It was a nightmare to install the top fans with the eps cables, I mean a nightmare!! Obviously I didn’t need both eps cables but I’m just ocd and had to have them both in there.

I am t100 Fifa player so this pic was mainly built for capturing console gameplay, video editing and streaming. I’ve been testing some PC games just to see how it holds up and even on a 1080p 144hz I am mesmerized...I am already looking for a 2k monitor. If you can tell me how to check that I will as I haven’t gotten to figuring out how to do that yet.

Thank you and that’s exactly what I’ve been playing with. I just couldn’t live with all the open Space at the top without the fans.

FYI if you’re using the meshify C and the d-15 a two fan config with that ram will not work. Even if you try to put the other fan on the other side by the IO, it still won’t clear the TG..just messed with it yesterday :(

Nice build!!! With that vertical gpu mounted, how much clearance is there to the glass panel? I am asking because I am getting a g12 kraken and water cooling the gpu with a x42 in the rear..you think the pump sitting on the gpu vertically mounted will clear the glass panel?

Thank you!!! My last build was 10 years ago so I’m far from a pro, I just knew there was no way to fit the vertical gpu and the capture card without some kind of modification which I couldn’t do until the case came in...thanks for saving me a step.

I have searched all day EVERYWHERE to try and figure out if I can fit the nzxt g12 in the define r6 with a vertical mount, was afraid the pump wouldn’t clear the side glass panel. I was getting ready to do the measuring with the msr specs... Most likely you won’t see this message but if you do...thank you massively for your Reddit post, I know exactly what I’m doing now!!

Yes most definitely, thank you!! What gpu mount are you using, the Lian Li one? I’ve been reading about it and people are saying that with the CM gpu mount you can fit 3 fans at bottom, hmmm.

Can’t wait to see finished product and seeing this post almost seems like destiny...I am wanting to build in this case but the dynamic version, but I have a dilemma. I want to mount the gpu vertically but I also need to mount a elgato hdpro60 capture card. How hard would it be to mount the capture card in the back where you mounted your mobo and just run a 1x extender cable? Was the 600mm too long, would 300,400 work? Thanks in advance.

Beautdiul build man,question..I am getting ready to build a streaming/console recording/making video for YouTube build, no pc gaming, and spend close to 3 grand on it...aesthetics...I was going with the 2700x until I saw your post and realized the prices of the cpus were the same. What is better for me to do to future proof my build? I know amd is getting ready to come out with new cpu but I know nothing about it, my last build was over 10 years ago. My plan was the 2700x with a crosshair vii, what do you guys recommend?

I am getting ready to build in the same case and I have a question for you...with the vertical gpu mount, can you fit a fan on the bottom? It looks like there is room for one 120 maybe? Thanks in advance!! Beautiful build BTW!

Beautiful build my man, what cable are you using as I’m getting ready to build something similar..I love how the 24pin is running perfectly across, I just hope my crosshair vii will be able to do the same with this case.
