Entirely true! It's pointless oc-ing any amd chips or their north bridges anyway? :D I'm not cross firing and neither am i going to bother overclocking this chip(maximizing the longevity overall). Hence my choice. Utility bills here are rocket high here btw.

Talking about, over clocking haha. This board is even able to push the fx to 4.5 ghz. However, knowing it's an fx chip performance gain would only be minuet, hence I went to oc the gpu instead.

Actually I was targeting an r9 280. Since its the same technically, didn't feel that it was worth the money. Especially if the user is only gaming at 1080p :P

Haha. Boards don't really matter mate, at the end of the day if it's able to support all that you need the other additional functionality is secondary. What's the use anyway? I've been using extreme boards from Asus and it really doesn't make a diff.Don't think you have played with enough boards to understand. hee

Haha thanks, its stable, tried hardcore gaming on this machine for 10 hours daily during my holidays. Unfortunately its sold, i may have some pics though, be using my other hard tubed WC rig, updating in a month's time. May check the other post instead! Cheers
