Hahaha. The top one is a hard mat. Soft mat is partially for comfort and also to protect the glass. Also use it when i need a ferment surface or more space.

That pic looks rad. IDK what you did to make it stand out, but great work. Might replace stock intel cooler and mustard and ketchup cables, but those are mostly aesthetic.

Cool ****. Glad to see someone rocking a decent air cooler on their CPU. Do you have any black lights?

What a beautiful build. I love the purpose for the RGB too. Also, how did you get your strip to do rainbow wave? In my build, I am still a little program limited on my RGB sync. Will be fixed ASAP though.

Don't be afraid to try out r/hardwareswap. Second hand parts are the best deal.

I try to mention all the purchases in the description, but

  • GPU I bought black friday 2016 off of JET (didn';t realize how luck I was at the time).
  • Nvme 950 pro, motherboards, wireless card, AIO, and monitor were bought second hand on r/hardwareswap.
  • CPU, Nvme XG5 were bought on ebay with the many %15 daily codes.

Anything else you're curious about? (: thanks for checking it out!

At least I know what my build would have looked like with white case. I'm still torn whether white or black was the way to go for RGB.

Thank you very much! I was torn between the rainbow and something more understated, but I'm very happy with how they react in the light.

They are from ThermalTake and bought them for ~$35 on sale @ Amazon.com

I have some NZXT case fans and RGB halo fan frames as extra, but 4 fans a rad seem a tad cramped. I know sometimes less is more. (:

Haha, THIS! My temps are surprisingly cool for the poor airflow. Maxing below 75c for GPU/CPU. Haven't maxed out the OC since adding the AIO.
