I’d say if you already bought the bundle then just keep it.
PCPartPicker Part List
With your budget you could even get a 4k 144hz monitor if you really wanted to, but that’s up to you wether or not you think the price increase is worth it. And a desk and chair is ultimately up to personal preference, but I can say from personal experience that this desk is pretty hard and sturdy for the price and it has multiple options for length and color.
Yup, it’s ready out of the box.
You can really just change out the CPU to it and leave the rest the same. The reason why I chose the 2700X over the 3600 is because you said you want to stream, so the extra 2 cores would help in that regard
Well for your purposes i’d say it would be the GPU first and then the CPU, but it has to be balanced because you wouldn’t want to put so much into the GPU and get some 2 core CPU because it would bottleneck the GPU.
Just slightly over the $600 mark but should get you much better performance.
You can just take out the hard drive if you want it to be closer to $800
Gets within the budget with a 3600 and a 1660 super without any mail in rebates too.
I’d upgrade the storage and add a cooler, but I’d say the monitor upgrade is worth it because you could have the most powerful system ever but if you run it through a 1080p 60hz monitor then you wont see any better performance than a system that could cost half as much. 1440p 144hz is a nice sweet spot, but you could save a bit of money by going with a 1080p 144hz monitor if you really wanted to. I just can’t really recommend sticking with your current monitor for this price point.
That CPU and GPU are designed more for workstations than for gaming, you could get better performance for the same price choosing different parts.
Oof, I just saw this comment after posting. RobertL90’s build is what I would go with, but if you’re hoping to game on it then I’d suggest maybe looking into the used market at this price point.
Noted. I can’t edit it anymore, but I’ll remember that for the future thanks.
Depending on just how cheap you have to go you could go with this and get something like a 5500 later on.
Happy to help!
Oh wow I had no idea, thanks for the heads up!
Edit: Changed the ssd in response to ImperiousBattlestar
Edit: Made a few changes to get a 2080ti in the build as an alternative
No problem, happy to help!
It certainly can run both of those games, but I’m not so sure how it would do at their highest settings. You might be able to get around the 60fps mark at medium to high settings.
This pushes a bit closer to the upper end of your budget but it gets you a 2600, 16GB of RAM, and plenty of storage.
This goes just a bit above your budget, but I think the few bucks over is worth it for getting a 2600, double the ram, and a 570 in there.
Even fits windows 10 if you don’t have a transferable copy, otherwise that’s money you can save.
Just a little over £500
Here's one for about $1000
And this one is for around $1500
You don’t need a very powerful GPU for a pc that will be truly dedicated for streaming only. They’d be fine with something simple like a GT 1030, or even the integrated graphics of the 2200G. Although you would have a nicer time with a CPU with more cores so a 2600 with a GT 1030 would be better, but of course it would also cost more.
No problem. It also looks like you can get borderlands 3 or ghost recon if you purchase this GPU from newegg right now too, so that’s a bonus.
Unfortunately I couldn’t fit in a GPU in the budget, but you shouldn’t have any issues when you do get some extra cash to buy one such as the 5500 when that releases.
Ok, well this is definitely overkill for your current monitor but you did say you plan to get another one. This should easily hit 60fps even on the highest settings on a 1440p monitor and you honestly wouldn't need anything more than this unless you plan on playing at 4k 60fps at the highest settings. You might be able to play at 4k and still get at least a constant 60fps at some lower settings though depending on the game.
What resolution and settings are you hoping to run at? What type of games too?
