Lovely, I am awaiting my case (black) this week, I'm happy to see it's a popular case this time around!
Thanks, I wouldn't consider SLI since it's only slightly better than having one card, well with the 10xx series anyway. I think I may downgrade on my next upgrade. I do design and editing but nothing fancy like CAD stuff.
Good to know there's someone else with the same great taste!!
Unfortunately, this build has died LOL. Mobo is faulty, so looks like I'll be doing a V2 very soon!
The desk is a Galant from IKEA (discontinued though) I purchased off eBay used.
Holy moly that is expensive! You should just get a 3D printer and print them yourself lol
thanks adrien, yeah I recommend getting a set of LED strips, they are very cheap, about the same price as a set of cable combs :(
Beautiful, simply stunning. It's builds like this that inspire people, Where did you get your sleeved cables and cable combs from?
Appreciated! I will update this build when I get all the right cables and have them tucked away neatly.
thank you Geekazoid!
will keep you posted on progress.
BAM! You're a mind reader, I have a white plastic plate that I could fit to hide the PSU wiring, which would save me on the custom set of wires, but I'm looking for a black panel. Good idea either way.
Ha, I used that for people to compare the size of the GPU, the front cover is huge. I was surprised it didn't sag when fitted.
Easily, BUT I don't believe the 1070 or 1080 in SLI is worth it. I am selling the BenQ so I'll use that money on top with the 1070 to get a 1080ti when it arrives and by then, I may swap some things around and rebuild this.
lol, I believe they're owned by PNY? I might be wrong, but I know they also make Gainward graphics cards!
You're right! that's what I plan to do with the custom cables once they arrive, I'll loop them under and behind. I was hoping to get some sort of plate that could hide the cables from the bottom, NZXT does a better job of allowing one to hide cables better.
Yeah the cable management is poor, I'll make use of the zipties properly aswell, those cable combs are expensive, I feel like just getting a 3D printer and make them myself!
I wish these had the ring design, they are the best looking LED fans you can get.
thanks dude, I only wish the motherboard had the slots set slightly high as you can't really see the GPU at normal eye level.
thank you Someta, that's a nice compliment. I think the Corsar 760T case helped alot as it's good at hiding wires around the back, and the ASUS 3.1 Deluxe X99 motherboard's layout is very clean.
They are great, less noise, better air flow and lower RPMs for more peace and quiet, compared to my Airflow Series and SP Series fans. I wouldn't say they're worth the higher price tag though, I'd recommend waiting for a price drop OR sell your current ones and put some money for the ML series. They certainly look great.
Yup, that's my weakest part of this stuff. I had no plans whatsoever where to put wires through, especially the fan wiring. I will be getting full custom sleeved cables for the PSU, that would make a big difference.
Beautiful, absolutely beautiful.
Well aren't you the lucky builder !!! xDD I'll find one of these people who trash expensive pc equip one day!
I'm assuming you built this a while ago, you didn't just pay an arm and leg for 2 fury X's? Also 80bucks for 32GB ram? That's incredibly cheap.
Very clean build, I am considering sleeved PSU cables but since my PC is sitting on my desk it's difficult to even see the bottom part of the PC so I guess I'll leave them as they are for now. May I ask why your SSD isn't mounted in the designated slots? 10/10 regardless!
Excellent build but disappointed with the GPU. I hope you upgrade that, then it would be 10/10!
Loving the build but dude, what's up with the blurry photos? some are downright awful. It's a shame because I want to see the build in detail but like I said, it looks lovely. Hope you add clear photos.
