Asus ROG GeForce GTX 1080 8GB STRIX. My prized possession graphics card. Camped newegg and spent a fortune for it, but it is a beast! Go Nvidia!

Awesome card! Seriously if you are in the market from a GTX 1080 look no further. This card is a monster. Without doing any manual overclocking (I just open the Asus GPU tweak App and click the OC mode button) it overclocks itself to 2100 MHz which is great. I've never seen it thermal throttle and the hottest I've seen it get is 75 degrees Celsius (Unigine heaven for 20 minutes with everything maxed out). The fans are set to only spin up when needed which keeps the card very quiet and the RGB lighting is awesome for those with a side panel window. The Asus Aura software is easy to use and my favorite thing is setting the lighting to "music effect" mode where it flashes to the beat of your music (or to gunshots and explosions in games).

Marvelous gpu crushes everything I've given it so far from 1080p to 4K

Simply incredible. The fans are relatively quiet, and temps will never get above 80C, and will usually stay around 64C unless you do a very odd fan curve. (80C was negligence on my part while adjusting the fan curve, this will never happen normally.)

I boosted mine to 2,138mhz, but had to bring it down to 2,100mhz for it to stay stabile. wonderful card. The LED software needs a bit of work if you are trying to get an exact color, but with patience you can do it. (yes, there is a real red, no, that melon orange it comes with is not its real red. You need to adjust the color wheel by about 4 pixels, lol)

->Make sure you have adequate case fans. This card heats up my room roughly 10F. keep airflow going and don't have anything blocking the intakes (wires, figurines, etc)

An absolute powerhouse of a GPU. Though I still think it's overpriced here in Canada, it's still well worth the money if you want the best of the best.

This card is an absolute monster. I run BF1 with 150% super sampling at 1080p and cannot push this card over 65 degrees Celsius or get it to drop below 55 FPS in 64 player all out mayhem. If you want to stand around getting killed in games because everything is just so beautiful that you can't focus long enough to shoot back, this is the card for you. It's a 5 star card before you even get to the double sided RGB lighting. It does sync to music and has a few other preset modes but honestly, you'll set it on one color and then never change it again. The software for the lighting is nothing impressive but that is a very small complaint. The overclock software seems simple enough, although, there's no reason to OC this card other than to benchmark or show off. The card is insane right out of the box.

Very fast card with great cooling. Larger than expected, but my ITX case was ready for it.
