from completed build University Upgrade Build

Going from an R9 380 to this is crazy. I loved my 380 because it was such a good card for nearly 4 years but this upgrade has been crazy. If a 2070S is too expensive for you this is the card to buy imo. Runs slightly hot hower because of my silent fan curve and lack of exhaust in the case.

from completed build X58's not dead yet

Very nice. Quiet, works well at 4K with the games that I run, which are demanding, but not demanding enough to require some crazy thousand dollar card. Had some brief issues with black screens while trying to do 4K60, but those went away after getting a proper 18 gbps HDMI cable. Also, an issue specific to my setup, it only gets into Windows while slotted into a P6TD if you enable that Express Gate built in OS thing. Not the fault of the card, just an expected part of using something so new with something so old.

This is a great card and I am pleased with this brand so far. I bought this because of the great reviews I've read. It is quiet compared to its competitors and its temps are on the lower end.
