from completed build GGPC - The G1 Loop!

My favourite graphics card from the new lineup, Asus is a close second but the slimmer design, fans and small details on this G1 version win me over. That little carbon fibre seperation between each fan is crazy cool :)

This thing runs everything flawlessly on max settings in 1080. Mine overclocks well (mileage my very). Nvidia’s software is excellent. Gigabyte’s software allows me to change the LEDs on the card to match my rig. The only con I have is the price was a little high but being a brand new chip, I understand the law of supply and demand.

Quiet and cool, easy to OC, and adjustable LEDs on the top. If you're put off by the orange markings on the front, depending on your case, you may only be able to see the top and backplate anyways. If so, the backplate is a neutral black and white, so it shouldn't intrude on your color scheme too harshly.

Equipped with much more robust power design than reference cards, a fancy backplate, and a standard height PCB, this card is truly awesome. Easily overlockable to 2152MHz. The backplate is compatible with EKWB GTX 1080 G1 water block, as long as the four outermost EK standoffs on the block are removed.

First 1070 that I could buy and available on Amazon. People recommend blower cards for small builds but I haven't had problems with it so far but given I'm only gaming on 1080p which is peanuts resolution for this card. Seeing 60s temperature after an hour of gaming. Card does look good with nice back plate too. No length/width issue with Node 202.

This thing is a BEAST! It's extremely fast. It crushes all my gaming needs at 1080p ULTRA. It's really quiet too. I expected it too be a little noisy. But I actually haven't even heard fan noise untiI now. A little overkill? Maybe. I am planning on getting a 1440p monitor in the future though. So it doesn't hurt having a card like this.

Been using for 2-3 years now, works without any issues. Some people have had issues with fans rattling when idle. Changing the fan profiles will fix that.

Dead silent, lots of LED colors to chose from, Fans only spin when the 1070 reaches a certain temperature. Nice back plate too!

EDIT: The gigabyte GTX 1070 has a problem with fans if you don't update the bios, It will keep doing that buzzing noise which if you ask me, is extremely irritating
